    I went this route and haven't looked back. PSA was running a deal on the Vortex Strikerfire (first gen) and I picked up two.  I have them on various rifles, never an issue and they work without fail when I play operator operating operationally. Most recent abuse of the guns had the red dot only looking like this:

    Now that I have the money, I might upgrade to an aimpoint if the vortex dies but so far it's been running strong.

    As messed up as the laws may be...The real question is how people continuously to bring their guns into NJ illegally(yea it sux, but the law is the law)...Seems like more and more ppl are doing it, but a few here and there are getting caught. 

     

    Ignorance is not an excuse for not knowing the laws however was the CO sworn in?  Does he have arrest powers?  IANAL but wouldn't LEOSA cover him?

Richard Burr (R-North Carolina), the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, reportedly will introduce legislation soon to criminalize a company’s refusal to aid decryption efforts as part of a governmental investigation. The news was first reported Thursday afternoon by the Wall Street Journal.

    I feel as if there is an ulterior motive with the EPA looking to ban this.  There exists a couple of lawsuits pending for right to repair for automobiles.  This mean's that the car manufacturers would be required to unlock the ECU of the vehicle for tuning/repairs instead of using factory OEM tools to unlock the programming.  As an example.  I have a Diablo Sport but it will not unlock the ECU of a 2015 Jeep.  Although I own the vehicle Chrysler cannot be compelled to unlock the ECU for me to do whatever I want with it.  From my understanding this does not affect OBDII codes but I can't change the parameters for installing bigger tires and have to go to Chrysler, explain why I want a lift and bigger tires, then they do the programming. They would also have to provide repair manuals which most people use to install after market modifications, if the EPA bans after market modifications then the automobile lobby gets to brush this under the rug as if it never happened.

    I know I didn't say anything adverse to LE's.  Just that they have a golden ticket based on their job.  That's a fact every time I read the following in random places in the NJSA code:

     

    Any person, other than a law enforcement officer or persons engaged in activities pursuant to subsection f. of N.J.S.2C:39-6, who knowingly has in his possession any hollow nose or dum-dum bullet...

     

    g.Exceptions.  (1)  Nothing in subsection a., b., c., d., e., f., j. or k. of this section shall apply to any member of the Armed Forces of the United States or the National Guard, or except as otherwise provided, to any law enforcement officer while actually on duty or traveling to or from an authorized place of duty, provided that his possession of the prohibited weapon or device has been duly authorized under the applicable laws, regulations or military or law enforcement orders.  Nothing in subsection h. of this section shall apply to any law enforcement officer who is exempted from the provisions of that subsection by the Attorney General.  Nothing in this section shall apply to the possession of any weapon or device by a law enforcement officer who has confiscated, seized or otherwise taken possession of said weapon or device as evidence of the commission of a crime or because he believed it to be possessed illegally by the person from whom it was taken, provided that said law enforcement officer promptly notifies his superiors of his possession of such prohibited weapon or device.

     

    Whole lot of exceptions from the law that should apply to both the LE and citizen but it only applies to the non LE citizens.  This is all over the NJSA code.  I do not blame LE's for any of this I blame the Assembly/Senate/Governors for making us second class citizens.

    You realize that's a two way street right?

     

    Except that their side of the street is paved with gold and our is a cobblestone road that you will eventually trip on and break your neck.  I am in agreement with all of the posts in this thread that indicate one law to rule them all.  No more double standards and no more caste systems.  LEO's are not better than regular citizens and regular citizens are not better than LEO's.  Our laws should be for both sets of individuals not a exclusion of the citizens from all of them.

    A1331 is about a new app "Gun Geo Marker" where anyone can flag a location as being gun "unsafe".  So your neighbor can mark you house as an unsafe gun location and everyone accessing the app can see it.  Kind of like that list the paper published of CCW owners in NY.  So your private possessions are now public knowledge to all.  Good bill IMHO.  We need to start a similar app for where the liberals keep their prized possessions, like money, jewelery, art, etc.  After all if we are going to give the criminals intel, may as well point them in the right directions.

     

    I'm actually working on an Android app for marking gun free zones so people can avoid them.  I'm fighting with google maps right now to use their API...

    Hey accidents happen, how many times have you left your fully automatic baby killer on the trunk of your car. More times than you can remember right. 

    He should have just gone to Walmart, bought another one to replace it and not said anything. O yeah that's right you can't buy them in CA because that state is run by and occupied by a bunch of fuckin gerbil killers. Twitter? Seriously? Can't wait till that state gets eaten by the ocean. 

     

    I always thought buying property in NV would be useful one day.  I'd like some beach front property without the liberal scum in CA.

    They do, here in Florida.  Because they know they don't want the NJ mentality ever coming down here!  And there are enough of us here from NJ to remind them of what it was like.  

     

    My friend is a transplant from NJ in the Naples area, he carries every day and he makes fun of me every day for not moving already.
