  1. I did. After researching and actually using the XDs, the Walther PPQ, and the Shield, I settled on the shield. They are all very good handguns, each with their own positive features. I hadn't intended to even consider the shield, but I have a few compadres who have them so I decided to toss them into the mix. When it was all said and done, the shield was the most comfortable for me to shoot and carry. I know there are some die-hard XDs and Walther fans here, and I appreciate all of your input.
  2. I've narrowed my search for my next handgun to either the Springfield XDs (.45 cal) or the Walther PPQ (.40 cal). I've carried all types of handguns in all calibers but currently carry a Sig P239 (.40 cal). It's just too heavy and bulky for what I want. I'm not looking for other gun suggestions, but would appreciate any personal experiences you have had with either the Springfield and/or the Walther. Thanks.

    AMT .380

Not a single issue with feeding. I was pleasantly surprised at the performance and even the accuracy. With a back-up gun, and basic fixed sights, you pretty much just point in the direction of the threat and fire. I was not expecting such a close group at 10 yards.

    AMT .380

I've had an old AMT .380 in my collection for years; probably at least 15 years. It was a "hand me down" from a co-worker who died a bunch of years ago, and his widow wanted nothing to do with it, so I got it. I've kept it soley out of respect. It's probably 30 years old, but in good shape. Today I took it out of the safe and put a few rounds through the barrel. What a smooth shooter. I wish I fired it earlier, and even carried it with the wallet holster. This is an older model, but it fires like a champ. Smooth and even. Who woulda thought... I am getting ready to sell it and have a buyer, but wanted to make sure it was worthy of another go-around in someones back pocket. Clearly it is.
  5. He's right across the street from Rice's Market. I like Wayne Boan too...
  6. 4 in the magazine / 1 in the chamber
  7. Call Gunner now. It's a Saturday so I'm sure he's there. His number is 215-297-5444. He'll tell you the price.
  8. Sweet. Mine was $365 new in box. Luckily he's a short drive across the river for me. I think he's my new shop, even though he's small.
  9. Did you get it from Gunnar too?

    $179???

Love the Lion! Excellent shotgun and priced right. I got mine from http://www.gdousa.com. They are based out of New Hope, PA, right across from Lambertville NJ.
  11. I just got the Lion X6 shotgun, and all I can say is WOW. I'd compare this in reliablity and functionality with the Belelli semi-auto shotgun but at a fraction of the cost. Until I bought this, I've never heard of this brand. It is made in Turkey, and they are new to me. I found a few youtube video's for this gun Here is one >>>> I bought this from a guy in New Hope PA, (right across the river from me) and he has more of them to sell. They are $400, and probably worth double that. I don't want to sound like I'm a salesman, because I'm not, but if anyone wants one, I got it from General Defense Outfitters. This is a one-man operation, but he is the sole distributer for Lion in our area. His number is 215-297-5444. He's also an authorized sig dealer, and sigs are my friend.
  12. I've got the UTG on my Ruger 10 22. I bought it on amazon.com for $19.99 and it works great. you can just do a search on amazon for "UTG bipod" and it comes right up. I have the Tapco stock, and it goes right on. Link to amazon.com UTG bipod
