  1. i personally would bank on a illness being our most probable shift and that trucking poster above would happen exactly as stated because as soon as a trucker or conductor or boat captain is risking being infected, infecting their family through them etc, those shipments will stop really quick, not to mention the minimum wage employees at the grocery store/walmart etc won't be risking their skins coming into contact with the hoards of people trying to buy food. Illness will tank everything quicker than you with think, with everyone hunkering down and holding a gun on their neighbor demanding they stay 15 ft away, till their food runs out and everyone is forced to go out = contact with others = spike in infected. every outing for gas or food or meds, your risking you life and anyone who's living with you just by going out amongst others or touching something someone infected touched. Other than myself i know of 1-2 people that have respirators & n95 masks stocked up for this, its something often overlooked in prepping and None of the average public keep them in their houses. and shit that won't 100% prevent infection anyways, many illnesses can be contracted by skin absorption or contact with your eyes.
  2. no joke this year i purchased 10 multi tools on amazon and returned them all except for my SOG S44n. i own a christmas light company (i know sounds odd) but I'm out on roofs and in trees and constantly cutting electrical wire, and a multitude of needing to cut clamp and tear. we use our multi tools 50+ times a day so i bought a ton of different models this year in an effort to find "the best" tales for my needs atleast, i used a gerber crucial last year but it was a little too small (loved the build in beaner as i need all my tools attached to me being on a roof) i was most optimistic about the leatherman skeletool as it has a large blade and beaner but the wire cuter is TINY and bad design if you need to apply pressure in your grip, it hurts your hand. the SOG S44n is just slightly bigger than the leatherman skel, but oh man the clamp and cutting power of the pliers can't be matched in a multi tool. it has a compound leverage system that multiples your grip strength. the difference between this and my old gerber cutting lamp cord was crazy, i can do it with a pinky effort now. i would highly recommend any of the SOG with compound leverage.
  3. well not sure yet, its going to be a balance of feel + price - expensive. i don't think its going to be a recreational thing , just really going to sit in the safe 99% of the time so i don't want to have to sell the farm on the purchase. i have twin 1 year olds so spare time = 0
  4. Oh yea I mean godfather, dudes shady.............
  5. -> kdshrk - no airsoft just pb, there's a big airsoft shop around the corner so I don't want to compete. -> checker50 - well you can always check out my stuff Www.rushproductstoyou.com I'm the largest retailer on eBay of used pb gear, I sell new as well though. 6. thanks guys, I live in somerville for those who asked, going to head down to the PD on monday and get the paperwork started. For you guys who cautioned about getting addicted lol, i own a paintball store (very different i know) but i see the same with people getting 20 markers etc, and again yes i know pb is wayyy different. i hadn't thought of a revolver, thanks for the suggestion i will defiantly try one when i can get over to a shop/range.
  7. My wife and I decided we would like to get a handgun for home protection now that we have kids (and a good gun safe) any suggestions on where to start, not looking to spend a fortune, and do we have to take a course or just apply for a permit? Thanks and sorry for the noob question! Gotta start somewhere.
