Dillon. Spend your money once and be done with it. Hornady would be a close second.
probably. I got a good deal on my hornady, only reason I went with over Dillon

I have a LNL also..So far, I like it. I did have problems with my cases getting stuck, but lube fixed that.

O.K. - My Re-Done 2001 Springfield 1911 Loaded V-12:
That a hot rod 1911

If you are ordering something from Midway, add the Ballistrol so the shipping will not be so bad. I got a can of the spray and the larger "refill" can just so I don't have to run around looking for it again when I need it. It has a long shelf life similar to Hoppes.
Thanks I didnt know they had it.. I was checking amazon.

That would be a dream class for me on the bucket list.
Me too. Finally decided to do it
-
I'm all for a class by LAV...having taken 2 of his classes before, I can attest to how worthwhile they are.
However, why are you suggesting a class that focuses on the 1911?
scomike did not mention which pistol he is training with, so suggested LAV in case it is a 1911.
I am making my way to the 6 day build a 1911 class with him and Burton, should be one hell of an experience.

Dirty minds and dirty guns work better together. A clean gun is like a clean mind, no fun at all.
weird, my wife says the same thing
-
Amazon I think..... I'll say this one more time because it bugs the mud puppies here. I don't care how dirty they are or are not. Other than maybe a little OCD, I really love doing it. It relaxes me and as some others I've heard in my travels, it's therapeutic.
i agree

I used to be neurotic. Now I just wipe my guns down and clean them around 500 rds.
Be it a $500 PPQ or $6000 Supergrade.
Ive always wanted to try Ballistol, but cant find the aerosol can size I want.

ill keep an eye out, just blems

Yeah I'm quite familiar with it, I didn't mean to suggest it was different for a civilian or the FBI, what I meant was, if someone gave me the opportunity to buy any handgun from the gunshop, aka civilian legal, it'd probably be that Professional 1911 by Springfield Armory. If I had the chance to buy ANY, it'd most likely be an MP5K or even MP5K-PDW etc. I just meant there are plenty of guns not available to the civilian in the country, but as of regular availability to normal folks, the Professional would be my probable 'dream gun'.
Thanks Scrap
Help me pick a good upper.
