I have a hypothetical situation and i wanted to see if I could get a good answer here... If i were to buy a 'evil', banned 'assault rifle' such as a SCAR or ACR in another state and keep that rifle in the state where they are legal (in this instance, VA), would i be able to buy it in VA and keep it in VA? I have family down there that i go see once a month or so and i figure if i keep it there, I won't have to muck it all up with welded brakes and pinned stocks. is this possible?? thanks!

if you DO decide to open a range, i'm in. Don't really have the capital to help the start-up, but willing to work for stock rather than instant pay.

Where to find Mil-Surp Rifles in North Jersey?

Sarco in Easton, it feels like you step back in time there. -
Thanks Shane. I'm trying to decide between the 16 and 17, any suggestions? I'd go 762 if I could whip it out at the ranges, but most ranges I know in central NJ except Bullet Hole don't allow high powered rifles.

I was thinking of using breakfree clp, any input on that oil?

who did your work for the stock pin and muzzle pin? I'm looking into a 16 or 17 right now...leaning more towards the 16 only because I can shoot the 5.56 indoors and i'm not that close to an outdoor range...right now. Thinking of moving to the shore late summer which puts me close to the jackson range which i hear is nice

thanks for the responses. i'm going to keep that area well cleaned with Rem oil too, hopefully the teflon will help reduce a little of it. I think you are right, it is the shell rim making the marks

I stopped in the other day to oogle the SCAR and FN goodies. First time at the store, the staff was very nice and helpful. I just picked up a shore shot 10 pass, but will definitely use this range as well. Easy to get to and nice people. Ammo prices are pretty good if you get a membership.

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and new to guns in general. I picked up a semi-auto Browning Silver Hunter a few weeks back, shot about 150 shells through it and ready to go again. I was cleaning and looking in the receiver and saw this wear into the receiver and can't figure out if this is normal or not. Please take a look at the picture and tell me if this is normal in a semi-auto for wear. Joe
