TRENTON – A Manchester man was sentenced Monday to 20 years in prison for drug trafficking and weapon possession, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced.

Dyshawn Moss, 42, was convicted on October 27 on five charges, including possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, Sellinger said.

On May 24, 2019, authorities went to arrest Moss outside of his apartment building in Manchester, according to Sellinger. Inside his apartment, Moss had over 1,000 grams of fentanyl, over 1,300 grams of heroin, over 2,600 grams of cocaine, drug-packaging materials, over $150,000 in cash and a 9mm Taurus handgun loaded with 10 rounds of ammunition.

In addition to the prison term, Moss was sentenced to 10 years of supervised release, Sellinger said

  2. I came across an interesting article for your reading:

In my state, it doesn't carry the force of law. So I ignore them. IF they discover I'm armed, they can ask me to leave, and I will. If I refuse to leave they can call the police and I would be charged with trespassing.

After the shooting in Aurora at the movie theater, I made the decision to remain armed, even in posted places, for my own safety and not be rendered defenseless. Since the posting businesses do not offer any guarantee to my safety, yet want me defenseless, they can go fuck themselves. Now if they offer me a personal, armed guard while I shop or watch a movie, then I'll consider being unarmed. IMHO there should be a stipulation to those no weapons signs. If a place requires you be defenseless THEY MUST ASSUME LIABILITY for your protection. Every. Single. Customer. Or. Patron. Period. This gets back to these people squealing “compromise” all the time. Hiring security for thousands of patrons every day would bankrupt them. Lawsuits from families who lost loved ones would bankrupt them. And yet they WANT their customers to be victims. If only 25% of their clients were armed, most of these mass shootings would end in seconds, and the body counts would be greatly reduced. We've seen the stories where armed citizens stopped the threat long before the police arrived. Sometimes before the 911 call was completed.

Remember this little fucktard?? Opened fire in a food court at the mall. And a young man who had just gotten his carry license months earlier, not a lifelong shooter like me, yeeted this piece of shit from about 40yds, across the food court and stopped the threat. MSM refused to run the story, because it didn't fit the narrative. Armed good guy, stopped armed bad guy. How many lives were saved that day? The good guy had a semiautomatic pistol with 15 rds. So it also went against the magazine ban bullshit that seeks to limit a person to 10 rds.

Your post title is misleading. The NJ AG's response was to a journalist asking about reciprocity was:

"New Jersey does not accept carry permits from other states.  A non-resident who wants to carry in New Jersey must apply to the New Jersey State Police for a New Jersey permit to carry under N.J.S.A. 2C:58-4(c)(3)."

Thats the entire input in this article from the AG. Not exactly "weighing in" or even hopeful.

There's a reason why I did not post the entire article, mostly for you to open and read the entire article. Seems many of you missed the most important part of the article it is not about the asshole, Attorney General or governor. It is about Massachusetts and the court ruling coming down the pike, click on the link in the next paragraph and then you will see what the article is really about.

Reciprocity and national reciprocity is the next logical step for carry since NYSRPA. The arguments the anti-gunners used back in 2017 are now very moot. The carrying of arms outside the home IS a civil liberty and as such, every state, jurisdiction, and political hack needs to respect that. I’m not holding my breath on the Murph entering into reciprocity agreements, but I bet a case – perhaps one out of Massachusetts – is coming down the line on paving the way for the states to be forced into respecting this right. It’s only a matter of time.

Why would you post that? I read it and the link and saw nothing to elicit any hope for reciprocity from NJ. The supposed AG response was a boiler plate "no".

Clearly, you missed the pending case/ decision on the Massachusetts case. That will be something little peckerhead can't stop...

didn't click the link. judging by the couple responses above me i'm guessing that the criminal general said pretty much no/never/nowaynohow. so now what we need is another scotus decision to force it on him. yeayea i know it's a childish outlook, but it'll be fun to watch.

You missed it, as well, Lt

One of the more challenging things for gun owners is navigating the different laws in different states, and knowing whether a particular permit to carry is valid in another jurisdiction. This might not be a big issue for people in certain parts of the U.S., such as the Gulf Shores, where many of the states have reciprocal agreements, and are large in land mass size, but for us in the North East/on the East Coast, well that’s another matter. Take for example a recent trip from New Jersey to Virginia I went on. Where can one carry and under what circumstances? What about someone traveling through New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and into Maine, New Hampshire, or Vermont? A recent release from Governor Phil Murphy’s office prompted me to reach out to the Office of the Attorney General, Matthew Platkin, and ask about reciprocity.

Hopefully, coming sooner than you think!

  6. An old man was eating in a truck stop when three rough-looking bikers walked in.

As they passed the old man, the first biker pushed his cigarette into the old man's pie, then laughed and took a seat at the counter.

The second biker picked up the old man's milk and spit into it. The third biker turned over the old man's plate before joining the others at the counter.

Without saying a word to the laughing bikers, the old man put his money down, got up, and left the diner. One of the bikers said to the waitress, "Not much of a man, was he?"

The waitress replied," Not much of a truck driver either. He just backed his big rig over three motorcycles!"

  7.  Democratic Assemblyman John “Jim Crow” McKeon

McKeon’s remarks from my former coverage on the topic:

…in my opinion, maybe tone deaf isn’t the right word as opposed to maybe a little bit disingenuous. Do you really do either of you? Does anybody really want to put more guns in the hands of people that live in Paterson and Newark and Elizabeth and Camden, to say here, all the money you’re charging isn’t fair. That will make things safer.

The clip of McKeon’s racist admission can be heard HERE in a video or in the embed at the end of this post. What I pointed out almost a year ago, I’ll point out again.

    More HERE:

The Supreme Court also said that Blacks, like all law-abiding people, can have and carry guns. Another thing that McKeon takes exception with.
