Thanks for the heads up, gonna poke around over the next few days and get something ordered.
-
Just saw the section with the completed ones. Any recommendations? Thanks again
-
Thanks for the info. Need something that can be ordered put together already as I do not have the necessary tools to do it myself. Looking to keep it fairly simple and cost effective (its my first build).

Back form vacation, time to getan upper built, any suggestions from where? Thanks

Was at NJFG in Rahway yesterday and they had 2 sitting on the rack. The bullet hole had one a few weeks back also. I was about to buy one so I started looking, but decided on building an AR instead. I did shoot it up at RTSP a few weeks back, it is a nice rifle, good weight, and cheap as hell to shoot. By the way... RTSP was $480 and Bullet Hole was 499, didn't ask at NJFG though. G/L

Very nice!

My buddy who builds these things is going on vacation with us so I will be able to pick his brain for a week and see. When I get back I'll start ordering parts either way!

I've shot a fully auto M4 a bunch of times, its so much fun. You go through ammo like water, but so much fun.

Vacation next week so everything is on hold. Debating if I should buy a complete upper or build one. I guess I'll have a week to figure it out.

I lost one of the detents when putting the take down pin in. It was so aggravating, good thing there were 3 in the package. I also lost the Bolt Catch Roll Pin for about 10 min, but then found it LOL Thanks. It really wasn't that bad. I enjoyed it, and can't wait to do more. These are the parts I have left but need the stock to install.

I can get it today though, and I don't have to wait for it to come lol

Anyone have experience with DS Arms? Any good?

Cruise to the Bahamas. Nice. I have an XD Sub Compact 2-tone .40, SW99 9mm, Ruger P90 and S&W Airweight .38

Thanks, I'm going to look into all the parts you mentioned. Im going on vacation next week so will have to wait to order everything till i get back anyway. Don't want stuff showing up at the door and me not be here. I would love to go shooting when its all done. I have a few hand guns we could play with also.
-
BTW, Mark you have a picture of yours?
-
If they can't, Ill just order it online (really don't want to wait though lol)

Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks, I'm in Nutley so I'm right next door. A close friend of mine has built a bunch of his own and does it for the guys on his department, etc. so I have guidance. I just like to get ideas of what other people out there are doing. I called First Line, waiting for them to call me back.

Why is having a collapsable stock such a big deal? It seems like such a stupid thing for the state to have a problem with. Its not like we are asking for full auto.
-
Dan, Thanks! So I can buy a collapsible stock, just have to "pin" it.
