  1. I love the tough bluster...it smells like victory. Love to see how many can load up with a rifle and 12 mags and run up a hill... Thought so. Good talk.
  2. Thanks for the heads up. Just got some. We should do more of this kind of stuff.
  3. Funny how the antis said the having national gun day Saturday was too soon after, but all the lefty Hollywood types can go party all they want 2 days later with nary a peep. My skin crawls.
  4. Wojo: Well said, constructive and to the point. And that is "standing together" because we are looking for leadership. The money, power and lobby are concentrated in ANJRPC, like it or not. So we need a voice in the darkness that is their lack of leadership. If anyone in authority at ANJRPC is lurking, pass along that ANJRPC is at a crossroads. Even the new members that are forking over hard earned cash will get disenfranchised before long. And while I agree with a lot of the criticisms, they are our voice. I consider most of this thread constructive and encouraging, they should as well. When members give up, then we'll have a problem.
  5. Of course... We all have gripes with our confederates. But for now, it's what we have. And as we head into the fight of or lives, we need to have a unified front. No partner/organization/relationship is perfect. But it's better than trying to go it alone. Learn from our opponents. They don't break ranks. Pretty much ever. Foist your venom on the liberal/progressive automatons that we elected. And mobilize our like-minded friends. As some Arabs of my acquaintance once taught me; "My Brother and I against My Cousin; My Cousin and I against the Stranger." And, they let me bring my .50...at least on Thursdays...Oh and now on Saturdays too...only in the afternoons...and after I check in with the RSO...and have my ammo checked...but at least I can...for now. Only we can keep the sky from falling...and then only together.
  6. Well I wrote Scott Bach, the executive director of ANJRPC/Cherry Ridge. His response is as follows: "... that rumor is complete nonsense! We would NEVER allow such a thing. Uniformed police sometimes do official training on the range with our permission, and that could possibly spark rumors, but there is no basis for this rumor... " I hope that answers that question. Carry on. Walt.
  7. Aw, c'mon. Really? WTF? Anybody else heard this as well? Not that I would ever have anything not politburo-approved, but really? I can't believe that Bach would allow that. Teotwawki.
  8. I would start with the first amendment. The framers never envisioned the telegraph, radio, television, cable tv, the Internet nor most assuredly; Social Media. Yet those that would infringe on an explicit right as granted by our foundation document in the very next sentence, use the "musket" argument to make their case. As the saying goes, "what part of ...'shall not be infringed' don't you understand?" At the beginning of this political power play, while they danced gleefully on the bodies of innocents, I was reserved and virtually silent on their attacks. As I grow weary of their misinformation, outright lies and manipulations, I am getting angrier and angrier. And as they always do, they have overplayed their hand. We will not go gentle...
  9. Hi guys, just purchased one at Luciano's , actually my wife's Christmas present to me. Boy do I have a keeper. (Yes, the girl and the gun)The kriss is very well made and does shoulder well and repeatably. Zero recoil or rise. Double taps are easy for anyone. Fed ~600 rounds. Not a glitch with Winchester white box. Be back out there Wednesday at cherry ridge. Caused a commotion last weekend. One nit, you have to remove the eotech to fit in the cheap-ass case they come in. That's going in the trash, or 10/22 duty. And Luciano's was spectacular. It was the aforementioned girl's first handgun on her very own shiny new permit. Business was bangin' with a lot of desperation in people's faces. Quite a few rank amateurs as well. No sure if they help our cause. But good to see a shop not gouging on anything. They even had .50 BMG hornady at prices lower than online. She asked if my future Christmas present was there and I couldn't resist. Saved on a second nics. So everybody won.
  10. Hello, First post. Great site. After the tragedy, the 2 PPs that I had renewed once became treasures. So I went to Luciano's in WP and tried to purchase a new Sig. They were unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable. However I was told that the NJ NICS system was down since last Friday. I was aghast, and they called it in front of me and several other patrons. Sure enough the recording said that the system was unavailable and that they would not be charged for the call. Any one else hear of this?
