  1. So I took my first 2 hours drive out to Cabela's in PA today. All I can say is, "WOW!!!!" Outside of the enormity of the store, it was such a shock to walk into a firearms store that had racks of rifles and shotguns that you can literally just walk up to pick up as if it was a bag of chips at the grocery store. I was there for roughly 3 hours and I could've spent so much longer if it wasn't for the SO. All the accessories and firearms related paraphernalia was overwhelming. Just seeing ailes of ammo arranged by the different calibers was something else as well. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly. Sadly they didn't have an left handed rifles as I was looking for one. The ammo prices were ridiculous compared to what I see here in NNJ! I already have a case of 9mm ammo at home but couldn't resist to pick up a few hundred rounds while I was there. I wasn't even ID'ed when I checked out with the ammo. It was an eye opener and kinda sombering to see how tough/strict we have it here in NJ. All in all, I'm definitely a fan and can't wait to go back!

  2. I was down to the G19 gen4, Px4 Storm, 92FS, and M&P as my choices a couple of weeks ago. You have to go with what feels best for you. Everyone told me G19 but I went with the Px4 Storm and I couldn't be happier. If you can, shoot and handle your narrowed down choices as much as possible and go with what feels best for you. No matter what you choose, it will be a solid choice as you listed very efficient/reliable choices.

  3. Anytime.

    FWIW, I think I may have finally figured out why my gun isn't running right. 5500 rounds worth of built up gunk under the extractor claw.

    Smells good, tastes great.

    She's clean now.

    Good to know it wasn't any other than something that just needed to be cleaned.

    @dtown and @Tango Charlie

    I'm left handed and am skeptical of getting a standard shotgun intended for a right handed person. I know that Remington 870 does come in lefty but I also came across the Browning BPS line and other over/under types that are lefty friendly. Should I not bother with one of those as a standard shotgun would suffice? Thanks in advance
