Picking up a Beretta A400 - 20Ga for my wife next weekend and wanted to have some ammo on hand to shoot right away. Since this is a SA, does anyone know if it is sensitive to any type of ammo?
Don't want to pick up a case and find it won't cycle.
Thanks

I have one in .17HMR and love it. I only had it out a couple of times, added a Nikon Rimfire scope, and it shoots great. Sighted it in at 50 yards and have taken it out to 200 so far. The gun is more accurate than I am.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Just fortunate that there were armed citizens that could step up in these situations!

I made a resolution to get me a .22 caliber wheel gun in 2020!

I work in cancer research and while there may not be a 100% viable cure we are getting pretty close with some of the immuno-therapies. We are seeing more and more indications either cured or partially cured based on certain protein expressions. The next 5-10 years will see some very promising breakthroughs in most if not all cancer indications.

A belated but quick update.
They actually played the game at a field a couple miles away from St Peter's and we ended up at a local dive bar called O'Leary's Publik House. It was a local place, with some very good IPAs on tap and the bar food was excellent. Ended up having 25 or so of us there for the pregame.

My first car in HS was a vette- Chevy Chevette, with a massive 1.4L engine.

Thanks for the input everyone!

Thanks everyone! Just curious, how safe is it walking around that area in the early evening, any concerns?

Anything really, just a decent meal and a cold beer before a football game. I do like a good IPA though, and am good with anything from a good burger, pizza, steak. I am not picky at all!

Is anyone familiar with the area in Jersey City near St. Peter's Prep? My son has a game there this weekend and I am looking for a place to grab a bite to eat beforehand.

Thanks everyone- I will check out your recommendations!

Completely agree, the shrimp cocktail is outstanding. I believe Harry & Izzy's is somehow affiliated with St. Elmos, I also though that Payton Manning was part owner at one time, not sure if that was true or not.

Can anyone recommend where I could go to have a bunch of older VHS, VHS Mini and possibly other format tapes transferred to a couple of DVDs?
We have a bunch of old tapes from several cameras that I would like to have transferred to a couple of DVDs, looking for it as a Christmas present for my wife.
Thanks!
I am located in Central Jersey near NJTPK Exit 8

Yes- me too?

Last movie I went to see was in 1988, last TV show I watched was Hill Street Blues in 1983. I can't say I miss either.

One of the main reasons I have not seen a single movie since 1985!

You can join us this weekend they are playing Villanova! And if I figure out where to tailgate and what's allowed I will have my typical feast available!

Anyone ever tailgate at a Towson football game? Going down to see my daughter for parent's weekend and we plan on tailgating prior to the game. Any info anyone has would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Depending on how it is coated, it may get stuck in the chamber.
There is also the difference between steel case and aluminum case. I have generally had ZERO issues with aluminum cased ammo.
Just curious, from a metallurgical perspective, would aluminum and brass extract better, at least in part due to better and faster heat transfer coefficients than steel? Thinking that they may cool down quicker especially if heat synced by the surrounding barrel and then shrink slightly which would allow easier extraction.
Of course this may not be even remotely close to what actually happens.
