  1. Love recoil, one of the only gun and gear mags i buy...to bad that they dont have monthly issues
  2. Hey guys, so my wife wants to redo my office into another bedroom in anticipation for future children.. That being said my firearms are getting the boot into the basement. I have 2 safes, one dedicated to handguns, the other to rifles. I am not that familar with humidity/temp control of safes when put into a basement, so a little crash course of best methods to do so would be great. I have a finished basement with minimal humidity, it has its own zone for heat/ac so im not to worried bout temp, but again not that familar with this. Any help would be great. Thanks guys.
  3. Ha...yeh i had a .50 desert eagle, and got rid of that. Seems that if you have a pistol that makes a hell of a lot of noise its no big deal. But bring a shotgun thats loud, and you are being rude, inconsiderate, and not curtious. Next time i am st bullethole, i sm going to bring my shotgun, my fathers garand, and my brother's sw500, Just to stir the pot a little. JK, i just needed my one time at the range with the uts to check function, and test some different shot rounds. Unfortunately many people dont understand that, usually the people that call glocks "gats", and load up their clips instead of magazines.
  4. Hey guys...i put in my permits 12/16 i received them 3/20...bit longer than usual...but now i have 5 that im just itching to use
  5. and to my defense. The uts15, though a 12gauge, with the tactical choke on it does not seem that loud.....maybe im just going deaf lol
  6. Likewise. Enjoy the day. To everyone regardless of religion affiliation, have a happy, healthy and blessed day, and year!
  7. No negatives with the uts15...it worked great right out of the box. Recoil is very very limited. Again i posted this since i was getting some nasty looks from ppl in there. Mostly from younger shooters. I myself am only 26, so i do not want to be put into the group of young and dumb. I have been shooting now for over 10 years, and would like to think i am respectful. I am also not one to start problems, as i am a pretty laid back guy. Hope they dont get upset when i bring the sw500(jk)... To all those that understand my plead, i ppreciate it
  8. Hey guys...i put in my permits 12/16 i received them 3/20...bit longer than usual...but now i have 5 that im just itching to use
  9. Hey guys, i just wanted to apologize to any guys that were at bullethole this morning. I recently picked up my uts15 12 gauge, and was doing s bit of a break in this morning. I just wanted to apologize if the noise level was really high in there. I am all about shooters etiquette, and know that if anyone else was in there in the morning blasting off 100 rounds of 12 g i would not be too happy, so again my apologies. Uts15 worked awesome, just needed to put it through the paces.
  10. Smooth transaction, prompt delivery, cool guy
  11. Hey RayRay, awesome post that you started. I have been married now for about a year, and never thought of the possible question that my future children's friends or parents can ask. I guess being childless for now you take advantage the freedom of doing what you want in your home with your guns. What i can say is that i have a 12 gun safe in my office at my house, and though it not a room that gets much traffic, people still see usually see it. Whether it be from leaving the door open to the office, or having to grab paperwork for a friend. What i can say is no mattter who sees my safe, they always ask question. The most common is "Wait, you have guns?". I kind of laugh it off, and say yeh. But the follow up questin is always the best. "Can I see them?." Now being from brooklyn, most of my friends are still in the city, so firearms to them are not as commonplace as they sre for us. So it always amuzes them to see what it have. In our group of friends, some being liberal others not, all of them have asked to go to the range. Lets just say now whenever i choose to go shooting , i am never alone. Long story short, I keep my guns safe and locked up, and never had to convince someone of there purpose is my home/life. Hopefully my children are friends with their's and we have a nice future of gun owning responsible citizens.

  23. hey guys when i went browsing today at heritage guild in rahway, i noticed that they had 2 ar's in stock...one was a s&w 15-22 black and pink, looked like it had a deposit already put on it but worth a shot(sorry i didnt ask).the other was some model ar which seemed to be in 9mm...it was tan digicam, however i know for sure it was for sale and did not have a deposit put on it...sorry guys for the lack of info(price, make, etc) but i did make a visual.
  24. Hey guys figured it out..i took it apart and the rear take down pin was not being held back by the detent...what the was causing was improper seating off the upper...being obsessive compulsive i went back to the range and gave it another whirl...no problems...so in my book A+ for chiappa and ati, D for me on my first build
  25. Heres the scoop on performance...brought it to the range 120 rounds no problems at all...load up another mag, pull the charging handle...click,click...nothing..release the mag, clear the chamber ...i take a look and apparently the bolt did not release and is stuck at the open position...i spent 20 minutes trying to figure out the problem. Finally i shoulder the rifle and it charges no problem...couple more rounds no problem...load another mag, and the same issue. Frustrated i go home to see what the problem is...seems like the upper does not fullly sit on the lower... However if u add bit of downward pressure onto the upper, the bolt will then work...perhaps why it worked when i shoulder it....is this common for 22 builds, common for ars? I dunno if its me of the rifle. I own a sig556 never had 1 problem...any input?
