Denville PD sandbagged my application. Tomorrow day 80 that they have it. Checked money order not cashed. Certified letter written by attorney arriving tomorrow at Chief, Judge Hubner, Judge Rabner and Attny Gen Platkin.

"Judge Suddaby on Monday said the requirements overstepped New York officials’ authority and argued the state’s list of gun-free zones was too broad"
Whorecul is appealing. I don't think this is going to work out the way she thinks it is.

At least yours is at the court. Thursday will be 80 days at the PD.
-
It appears that once your application makes it to the courts it's up to two months.

Nice to see everyone today. A little rain early but it didn't spoil the shoot.
Thanks to Nick whose pop up canopy came in real handy.
Thanks to Damjan who brought the coffee.

Heading out at 9:15 lets hope the rain stays light.

I'm aware. If I was a registered voter in Texas I would refer to him as that jackass. Sorry to all the genuine jackasses in Texas
Only the four hoofed ones.

Before Gannet bought the paper I worked for I was going to call in sick to see how many days it would take before they fired me.
Now working for the town I would show up for work for one day and train someone to do my job. I like this job more that the newspaper job.

Maybe Beto will change the speeding laws?

My wife the lovely Cindy went on our local facebook page and low and behold I got a lead on a station nearby that sells kerosene.
They have a plaque on the wall in the office with the 2nd amendment on it so they deserve our support. It's an old school station built in the 30's still independent. The kerosene pump is inside the building. Never saw that before.

Thanks I filled out their customer form because there was no phone # on the website waiting to hear back.
A representative from Dixon Oil told me there is no kerosene in NJ. I'm thinking it's like getting gun law advice from a gun store employee.
We shall see.

Thanks tried calling but it was a fax machine. I've tried them before I think. They had the sign and the pump but no kerosene.

Does anyone know where I can get 5 gallon kerosene cans filled? Preferably Morris or Sussex counties.
I've called several oil distributers and they have all said they don't carry it.

Does anyone have any info out of Morris Co? I read a few members were issued early on but nothing but cricket's since.
According to Denville PD they have not received any back from the courts yet.
Currently at day 71 and I don't know if it has been sent to the courts yet.

I would recommend the Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22.
Yes it will cost more but they run almost flawlessly.

S. Constitution whenever it finds such legalities to be inconvenient? Jim Jones is smirking from beyond the veil.
I think that a Federal judge will force them to hold to it.
Refusing to live up to their contract would be a willful violation of a civil right.
That will get expensive for the state pretty quick.

This is from the NJ State Police website regarding qualifications: "Written qualification must be within six (6) months of application"
If they take longer than six months your qualifications are still good according to that wording as long as they were within the 6 months when you dropped off (applied) for the permit.

That may be so but it doesn't explain why my first 2 references were contacted on 10/12 and 10/14 but the third was not contacted till 10/24.
10/24 is 9 weeks since the application was submitted.

So apparently my last post regarding progress on my application was based on a line of bullshit.
After being told on Thursday the 20th that my application was "on the chiefs desk awaiting a signature", on Monday the 24th my third and final reference gets a call.
I wonder how it could be on the chiefs desk and still under processing at the same time?
My wife said I should stop in so the clerks know that I know they were lying however I can't figure out a polite way to call someone a liar to their face.
Now on day 64 at the PD.

I wonder how RPO's are going to like it when sone Karen calls the police when they see the RPO carrying?
I'm sure it won't happen often because they will not have to use a bulky outside the waste band holster with a retention strap.
-
They work great in my Ruger PCC however they will not seat with the bolt closed.

Mine spent 77 days at PD. Allegedly it's at the court now. I will contact the court in a few days to confirm.
