I grew tired of the constantly yearly call to bargain down the price... " sorry no new promotions, oh you really are going to cancel, OK we have the cheaper price now"

It's good if it has what you need or want, but I just want to stream music and there are cheaper alternatives. It's also good if you live out in the middle of no where. But around here there is enough tree coverage to get spotty reception in the summer.

LOL Love my XM but the haggling every year is a drag. I leave that part to my wife as she thrives on making them cry.

  2. The backdrop in the picture was used in my booth when I exhibited in trade shows years ago It's the folding gray velcro walls with the triangular shelved. It came in 3 cases and was designed to be erected with no tools necessary. It's definitely an older style but may be of use to someone planning to exhibit in trade shows and the newer styles are quite expensive. N/C pick up in Clark.

Is that no change, or did they laser you to better than 20/20 so it would last longer? The reshaping of the cornea is permanent, but it doesn't stop your natural progression of myopia or the onset of presbyopia. Some people have better experiences because they wouldn't have gotten too bad anyway. Timing of when you get it also helps mitigate issues. The people who make money selling you lasik say that about 35% of patients need another surgery. I would argue that that number undershoots reality as a significant number of people just go back to wearing glasses rather than pay for more surgery.

Myself, I've gotten so used to wearing glasses and having a barrier between my eyes and the world, I'd probably be blind in a year if I got lasik.

Was 20/15 for a few years and settled at 20/20.

My nearsightness was in the perfect range for good results with lasik and at 42 my prescription hadn’t changed in many years. My ophthalmologist says I’m one of the few that had such good results ove a long period.

“Gangs of London” on AMC+, and “Peaky Blinders” on Netflix we’re both pretty awesome

Also, “Without Remorse” (my 2nd favorite Clancy book - first is “Red Storm Rising”) is being made as an Amazon series. I always wanted to see them make this into a movie followed by a Rainbow 6 movie.  Not sure in the release date though.

For those unfamiliar, “Without Remorse” it is the backstory for Mr Clark, a prominent character in the Jack Ryan series. They cast Michael B Jordan as Clark.

Whenever I picture the John Clark character from Clancy's books I think of William Defoe who played Clark in the book Clear and Present Danger.

Thanks for the recommendation on "The Expanse" just finished book 8 which I think is the last one and really enjoyed it. The Amazon/SciFi series is pretty awesome too.

  5. Had one when they first came out and eventually trashed it. Between the 3 daughters with long hair and the long cat hair and long dog hair I’d spend forever cutting all that hair out of the gears and shafts etc. just to make it work.

  6. Wow I saw the ad in the buy or sell forum on the fishing site and thought the same thing “ this would be a great place to put a personal range”.

If you go with it good luck.
