    NICS checks

do the NICs people send NICs approvals on weekends? are all these total wait times including weekends or just business days? thanks.
  2. I called about the same time this afternoon and got the same answer. And yeah, i think she is getting sick of me too. Can someone put in some calls tomorrow, just to touch base and see where they might be?
  3. Same here. I have think she is busy on the records. Let's hope. I will try again tomorrow.
  4. I got word from the adjusters office that the records will be delivered tomorrow

  7. Well said handyman. But I wonder if the news and law makers find out about this mess they would turn it on us and laugh. They might even help postpone the whole process even some more. "Call that restoration company and give them a medal for slowing down all those gun nuts." I won't put it past them.
  8. The resortation company is Belfor property restoration: Northern New Jersey Tom Cristello, General Manager 652 Rahway Avenue Union, NJ 07083 973.709.1240 Toll Free 1.877.388.8052
  9. Belfor rep for North NJ is: Northern New Jersey Tom Cristello, General Manager 652 Rahway Avenue Union, NJ 07083 973.709.1240 Toll Free 1.877.388.8052
  10. I called too. Voice mail. I sent him an email requesting he re-contact the restoration company and get a firm date. Also i asked for the name of the company. If you can, please do the same to keep the pressure on.
  11. Great letter, mchosi1. I'm send sending one too and pounding them with calls. I want action. If they don't want to take this issue seriously, then the fight is coming. We need as much help as possible. Reach out to othe 2a supporters and have them help out.
  12. Mchosi1 I love the fact you have no shame. Me too. I like you already. We need to band together on this folks and call, email, visit, write whatever or else we might not see permits and cards for months. Volume and noise is what is needed. Please let's do it and bug the hell out of them to get this fix. Anybody know of a good lawyer who can help us out? A letter or call from an attorney always seems to help. If at the very least let them know we mean business and are not going away.
  13. Thanks for the info familyman. The email will help too. Let's flood them with noise and let them know we are not going away. The only way we are going to let up is when they do the right thing. Calls, emails, visits, letters, whatever you can do. But volume is the key. We need to become a thorn in their side or else we won't see permits or cards for months and months.
  14. In person is always best. It's hard for people to say no to you or lie into your eyes. But whatever you can do will help. Email or phone calls will help. No need to close your shop. The working man and woman is already paying a lot.
  15. I think lawsuit is an excellent idea. People don't like to litigate so settlement is always a option or the suit itself is a great motivator to jump start an issue. It littles a fire under slugs all the time. Whether you win or lose isn't the issue, but fighting the cause. They are beating us down if we take. Fight back please. Make the calls or email or send a letter but make freakin noise!
  16. I've been reading this thread for the past few weeks and I'm as frustrated as everyone else. My question: is there anything we can proactively do to make this right. I feel like a victim during this whole thing. Does anyone know who the restoration company is. If we can get that we can start to apply pressure. We can systematic start calling the aduster, the risk manager and the restoration company. The squeck wheel philosophy applied in mass and methodically. We could threaten a class action lawsuit--we can start off by sending a letter to the adjuster and the risk manger. Aren't some lawyers on this site who could drafted it for us? I am new to this site don't know may people here so I am at a loss. If we are on board let get together-- maybe even draft some other users who may not be effected by this but don't like the injustice to help us. We can make a list, and schedule calls to the three mentioned already. ?
