As I am a probationary member (so I just went through induction process) I have an FYI on submitting an application. If you are looking to get signatures for an application I would suggest getting there even more than 1/2 an hour early since the back parking lot is not always open and the front lot is usually full by 1/2 before the meeting. Also, in case any of you don't know, you need signatures from the full members (yellow badges) not probationary members (red badges).

I don't know about rescheduling of the monthly meeting or if the firearms safety and range rules sessions are still on but if I hear anything I will try to post it here.

FYI - I just got the email. Tonight's (2/5/14) CRRC monthly meeting is canceled due to the weather.

Time taken to issue FID and/or permit. 31 days 5. Documents required by the PD (aside from the standard application and the mental health release form). None. 6. Notes - anything pertaining to the application process (unforeseen difficulties, chief of police calling your home, you hiring an attorney, etc.).

For anyone looking for a Glock 19 and OK with buying from an online gunshop (vs local a local brick and mortar) the Glock 19 popped as "in stock" "internet only" on Budsgunshop this AM for $592 ($575 for cash). I don't have the wife's OK yet to pick it up for myself but I know these have been in short supply and others have been looking.
