  1. Just got a message about steel challenge, I probably should have put this info in here.

Steel challenge at Quinton is the first Saturday of every month at 8 am. 6 stages, most are official. It's so easy anyone can shoot it, no need to watch first. Just bring all your usual shooting stuff, any non magnum pistol that you have at least 3 mags for preferably 5 and about 200 rounds (or more if you miss a lot) you can miss all you want just keep shooting. It's a fun shoot and no one cares how good or bad you do as long as you have fun.

USPSA is the second Saturday of the month and is pretty easy to. There is movement so you will need a belt, holster and mag pouches.

Any questions feel free to ask.

    Website  http://www.quinton3gun.com/index.php

Read the rule set its really easy and only takes 5 minuets!!!

Setup starts at 7am. Registration closes at 8:30 and I will have a new shooters briefing at 8:30. Match announcements at 9 with the match starting after that.

$22 for members and $28 for non members.

I think this is the Facebook link https://m.facebook.com/login.php?next=https%3A%2F%2Fm.facebook.com%2Fprofile.php%3Fid%3D480685162262667%26tsid%3D0.8144195090284061%26source%3Dtypeahead&refsrc=https%3A%2F%2Fm.facebook.com%2Fprofile.php&_rdr

New shooters are welcome to shoot.

The kitchen will be open as always and will bring you what ever you order

There are still spots open, just register and we will increase squad size as needed. The match will be capped at 60 shooters.

Side note for all the out of state shooters, dont be scared of NJ and dont think you wont have fun with 10 rounds in the mag. I make the stages so there is almost no standing reloads, its fun being good at gun handling. This is not a pure hoser match although there is some hoser arrays, this is a very challenging match that is sure to please everyone.

  3. Welcome, if your into shotguning Quinton sportsman club can't be beat. They have it all, trap, 5 stand, skeet, just a normal field for hand throwers and there's 2 manual machines, also my personal favorite the 16 stand sporting clays. You can rent a golf cart, bring your own or just walk, it's a really nice walk through the woods.

It's all open to the public. Friday nights theres dinner and all the SG venues. Sundays the kitchen is open for breakfast and lunch.

  4. Ok you have my attention. I load pistol and rifle now.

    1. How much exactly does it cost? Less than $45 a case? I'm taking not getting stuff on sale. Full powder valley prices.

    2. Where's that press and how much?

    3. Do you have to clean the shells?

I think I'd wait to sell anything.  Today is not a good day to get out of a position.  Of course if today is the top of a freefall, well, so it goes.  I expect an uptick though.

True, I got in years ago and made a ton already so I don't mind selling now. Just looking for a year or so flip to grow faster and buy more brkb next time.

  6. This might be a good time to buy stock. I was just looking over Ruger history and this might be close to the bottom. Come 11-2-20 you we could make $30 a share with Ruger.

I have a lot of brkb and a little of ge. Thinking I should ride out the ge shit storm, take all the brk, dump it in a gun company, sell it on Monday before E day and buy back into brkb.

Thanks everyone for all the great advice.  I'll definitely check out the GSG 1911 and the Ruger SR22 4.5" barrel.  I believe Kimber makes a .22 pistol, but price wise it's a little high and not sure if I'm getting anything above and beyond other .22's.

Do not buy anything that has the name Kimber on it. Especially if you want to actually shoot it.

  8. The gsg 1911 22 is a decent gun for the money, same size and controls as a real 1911 but it's aluminum so it doesn't have that fell like a steel 1911. I think they are right around $300, mine runs almost any ammo 100%, cci's are 100%.

The only 22 I know to stay away from is the Sig mosquitoe.

I don't understand... are you saying we are crying on the internet because the community (not just us, gun owners and trainers in general) are calling out a so called expert trainer out on his unsafe BS?

You have MIL/LEO guys out there all saying this is a stupid stupid stupid thing to do, even with trained professionals.

By NOT calling out such BS... such training would keep on happening.  To a greater degree, the community needs to police itself from the more creative morons out there putting lives in unnecessary risk... and this is precisely what it is.

As far as this biting gun owners?  It will in any case...

    1. IF the gun community did not come out against this BS... "Gun owners had proof of unsafe training and did nothing to police their own, they put lives at risk and did not condemn this."

    2. This video will likely be star testimony at the next lawsuit dealing with training anyway.

Wasn't talking about the training stuff in that sentence, was talking about the fact that no one can carry a gun in this state so training like this is pointless. They should be throwing ninja stars or rocks or something, maybe just taze each other.

  10. I can't wait till this whole "I'm a civilian but I'm training to be an operator" bull shit blows over. Especially in NJ, your never gona be able to carry a gun in this state. It's not the politicians that prevent us from carrying, it's all the gun owners crying on the internet instead of making a real difference.

Stop wasting your money with these assholes and just shoot a fucking match. Guns in NJ are only for games, not self defense.

When you move to America and there's that one in ten millionth chance that you have to get in a gun fight happens, your not going to have to fight the entire taliban army or the swat team. It's gona be one coward dope head and all you have to do is show your gun, the end.

  11. Brah, FUCK, AND I MEAN FUCK THAT MOVIE! What the fuck do I even try to watch any movie made after 1990? Glad we stole that shit, not that I'll ever give Hollywood any money ever again anyway. Jesus I can't get over how we just wasted 2 hours of our lives. I feel like a sucker cus they got to be blindfolded while I had to keep my eyes open.

Sandra Bullock was born a man so yeah, no wonder she does a black dude in the movies.
