  1. Yeah, it pulls from multiple vendors. Here's what it looks like on my phone.
  2. I'm not sure about android because I use iOS. Here is a screen shot though.
  3. Interesting. Certainly not as pretty as something precision cut with a laser. But still awesome. Thank you.
  4. Has anyone tried this? I've heard the results are great but it can be expensive. How much money can something like this cost?
  5. I just had my muzzle brake pinned/welded by Steve at Monmouth Arms. Not only did he let me come by with almost no advanced notice, he had it done super fast ( 30 minutes ) and the job looked great. Very professional. He also took time to answer some of the many questions I had and didn't rush me out the door. Overall great experience from a nice guy who does amazing work. Highly recommend!! Thanks Steve!
  6. Tomorrow I am having my 18" barrel Tavor pinned/welded with a muzzle brake. The barrel is threaded and it has an inoperable bayonet lug (wings shaved off). After replacing the flash hider with a muzzle brake, and pinning/welding it onto the threaded barrel, will it finally be gtg according to the state of NJ? Thanks for everyone's help on this. Greatly appreciated.
  7. Thank you. I have no problem doing that. As long as it gets me out of that grey area. Any idea how much that can cost?
  8. I really appreciate everyone's help. Thank you. So what should be my next move? Should I swap out the flash hider and permanently attach a muzzle break? Would that put this issue to rest?
  9. Yes, it still has a flash hider. They said it was ok because there is no pistol grip. I want to err on the side of caution though.
  10. Thanks for the quick reply, Blake. I will definitely be getting it permanently attached. It's not worth the risk. Since it isn't currently pinned/welded do you think It would be smart to just swap out the flash supressor for a muzzle brake? And then have that pinned?
  11. The shop I bought my Tavor from said it's ok for the weapon to have an unpinned flash supressor because the grip isn't a pistol grip since it's a molded part of the frame. Can anyone confirm?
  12. The side of my barrel says: P 5.56 NATO 1:7 Hammer Forged/CL Does anyone know what the letter P means?
  13. I was trying to post a pic of the muzzle break. Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to do that.
  14. Thanks everyone. Before I head up there does anyone know if this looks NJ ok or not? I appreciate it. Edit: never mind. My iPad isn't letting me upload pics
  15. I really appreciate everyone's help. Thanks a lot guys. I'm going to take it back to the shop on Monday. I have a suspicion that I was accidentally given one that hadn't yet been made NJ compliant. Now that I look at it the muzzle break doesn't look pinned. I guess I got one that slipped through the cracks.
  16. I've decided I'm just going to return it.
  17. Hey all, I recently bought a Tavor SAR with a bayonet lug on it. I was told by the gun shop I purchased it from that the rifle is NJ legal because the wings were cut off, rendering it useless for bayonet mounting. For those with knowledge on this topic, can you tell me if: A) the wings are indeed cut off B) in doing so does it really make it NJ legal Thanks for your help.
  18. I just picked up a Tavor SAR and am now looking into optics. Does anyone have any input on the Mepro-21 that comes with the IDF version?
  19. Today I picked up a Tavor SAR from Ottomanelli's. To say I'm excited would be an understatement. Side note: the crew at Ottomanelli's was fantastic. I highly recommend them and I even wrote a small review under "Ranges and Gun Shops"
  20. Today I made the long drive from south jersey to north jersey to scoop up a Tavor that Ottomanelli's was nice enough to hold for me. After a ridiculously long drive due to horrible traffic and rain I can honestly say I just wanted to get the trip over with. However, shortly after my arrival I found myself hanging out and talking with the staff, just shooting the breeze. They were some of the nicest people I've met. They welcomed me as soon as I walked in. The process was quick and easy (and enjoyable). They knew I made a really long drive and were even kind enough to offer me food (multiple times) that they had just ordered for themselves. They were extremely polite and friendly. They made me feel very welcome and expressed such gratitude toward me for making the drive and giving them business. I can honestly say that I will be using them again in the future. I recommend everyone to go check them out sometime. If anyone from Ottomanelli's is reading this I appreciate your service. You guys were great.
  21. I just noticed that the Xbox One is pretty much out of stock right now. Does anyone have any knowledge of when they will become available for purchase?
