Cool. If he's willing to do compliance work on it, then there must not be anything stamped on the lower that would put it on the "banned by name" list. I'm going to send Ruger an email to see if they plan on offering a NJ model. Will update with any response I receive.

I was looking at it as an affordable "starter" AR ala M&P Sport. I also plan on doing a build as well, but I'd like to have an AR to shoot in the meantime. Edit- In response to jty. I don't know why your quote didn't show up.

Me ? Just curiosity, I've never used it outside of automotive applications. I hear about people using it all the time, just not how they use it.

For those that use Mobil-1, do you use a separate cleaner? Do you use it as a protectant on the slide or other exposed metal surfaces? Or do you use it only on friction areas? I guess what I'm asking is, do you use it like you would use a CLP?
