  1. Hi & thanks for asking!  Here's the link to the online store:  http://www.cnjfo.com/Store

I carry (in my car--what I refer to as "The War Wagon") maroon member tees, some orange 2A tees (design same as Rally), as well as some "Charlie-the-Perp" tees.  In outerwear I have both black & maroon hoodies, full-zip hoodies, sweatshirts.

I can meet you at Union Hill Gun Club during the day to drop anything off, so check online & let me know [emoji4]

    Rosey

What brand hoodie? I'll take two more T-shirts and depending on the hoodie brand maybe one of them too. I know I am picky. I do wish all of you would use Royal Brand shirts which are Made in America and for those Pro Union Guys (I am not one of them) they even have a Union Made in the U.S.A. line.

Just a quick PSA. If we are part of the problem we can't be part of the solution. I will not buy anything for my business not even a single fitting that is made outside of the United States, Canada, or Germany. I try and do the same in my personal life as well. Spend the extra money support American jobs and get a product that will actually last. For those that bought Made in China cabinets or anything else for your last home project you should be embarrassed of yourselves. You got a low quality product filled with lead and formaldehyde at the expense of American jobs. When your foreign made junk lasts less than 5 years rather than generations you will need to dispose of it, thus why our landfills are over capacity.

  2. I have two of the 12 gun Stack-On cabinets.  I had enough ceiling height to mount one on top of the other to save space.  They are bolted to each other and to the wall internally.  I think someone with a good pry bar and big hammer could have it opened in about 5 minutes.
But, they are cheap, they keep kids out, they keep honest people out, and they are light weight.
Someone with a prybar and hammer can open the $1,500 gun safe just as easily.

  3. Most gun safes that people buy are not fireproof and not hard to get into. They make them look beefy but they use gypsum board, drywall, sheetrock whichever term you prefer. A good safe uses fortified concrete. If you aren't going to spend thousands on a safe (close to $10k installed) you are just as well off with a stack on.

Better yet if you have the room build a gun vault and enjoy seeing everything. What goes real nice in a gun vault is the old Lista or Vidmar 60" tool draws. They are 9-12 draws high and each draw can easily hold 7 full length rifles. The Military surpluses them now and then cheap. Otherwise even used they are a $2k, but the glides on the draw are smooth like butter even when full. One draw can hold a whole lot of Bayonets.

  4. What thread?  What VOTE?  LOL!  I must have missed something?
I'll meet anytime.  Just PM me to make it happen! [emoji4]

No idea what they are talking about, but whileI have your ear how do I get more shirts. I wear my shirt at least twice a week and it is starting to show wear.

  5. You were given 180 days as per the legislation. Court challenges do not effect the  legislation timeline, unless of course you win. Which isn't going to happen, hence the reason for the last minute decision release - no time to appeal or apply for an emergency injunction.

Or who gives a damn about their Unconstitutional Laws.

  6. WTF is the world coming to with AR's for $399 and AKs for $1k.
Too bad it was the AK regulated into a $1k price.
What was the quality on the Red Jacket AK's?  Before all of their legal issues.
I read a lot of issues with Red Jacket stuff but have no first hand knowledge.

  7. Depends, round bagels get Taylor ham, square bread gets spam. Not sure what porkroll is but sounds round?

I was going to like your post til you screwed it up with Taylor Ham. Taylor Ham for the last time is a brand of Pork Roll.

Spam is pork shoulder. It doesn’t have the livers, pancreas, and snouts that Scrapple has.

That being said, a fried Spam sandwich is divine!

Correct, but scrapple is a delicacy that must be enjoyed once a year.

Pork Roll or Spam depends on what I am in the mood for. Spam is more versatile. Goes great with scrambled eggs and fried rice.

  8. Guy in Mass. Made an AK from a Sh*t Shovel he bought in NH for $5. I think his total cost was under $150.

    Century AKs are overpriced junk.

Want a good AK buy a Saiga and build your own. I always got my parts from Dinzag. Prices are a little higher but everything was in stock and he provided support for build. Never had a single issue with any.

  9. Dream On.  You get what you pay for. Yeah, you may find one at that price point but it would be junk and will not hold up--lots of cast parts. Manufacturers cannot build quality AK's at that price point and make any profit

Why is that? Last I checked production costs were around $78 in Russia.

  10. Not for Nuthin' (as we say in Jersey), but this instigator hasn't passed my "sniff test" since Day #1.
Weed Man probably voted for Gov. Freestuff, the same A-hole providing us all with overzealous harassment 24/7/365!
Every-so-often I lament that "there ought to be a rule" that only law abiding gun owners can post.  THIS IS WHY^^^.  If Weed Man filled-out a 4473 to become a gun owner, he LIED ON A FEDERAL FORM, therefore is a criminal.
    ----30----

Actually he doesn't own a firearm IIRC his wife does. Maybe there is more to that story.

  11. Where do the lawsuits stand?

Cheeseman-Jilliard can't lose lost twice now it seems. It really seemed like a good idea to me, good enough that I kicked in a couple hundred. Much better than the crazy RICO suit. Problem is NJ courts are too damn corrupt. I see they hired a new attorney. Were they representing themselves previously? Next stop NJ Supreme Court I assume? Are they prepared to go through the Federal courts?

Where is the ANJRPC Carry Lawsuit at?

What about the magazine ban? 3 judge panel from 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals asked to rehear arguments? Has this been done? When are they expected to rule? Regardless of how they rule I am guessing it will go to the full court of Appeals which will rule against us. Next stop SCOTUS?

No other lawsuits planned by ANJRPC? Just going to be reactionary? Wait til they pass AWB then file lawsuit that will go nowhere?

  12. So I have a question about this. I cant see the front site through the rear leaf. I found a peep site I like but it required modifying the rifle. Is it worth drilling and tapping the reciever? I dont want to wreck the value, but I'd like to be able to shoot it some what accurately.

    It's a Willians 5D peep.

You will destroy value. Get a no drill mount. I think you can swap for a No4 sight as well but I'm not positive about that

Depending on which style you got. I have the first book, as the 2A1 is really just a .308 No1 MkIII, and it has some good info in it.

Mauser info, a lot is available online (Gunboards is good). Being I have a Yugo M48A, I’m happy I found the Bogdanovic book for the actual cost ($20ish). That book is well over $100... if you can find it. But it does have A LOT of info on Serbian and Yugo rifles... even some of the Mannlicher ones (touches on the Yugo SKS, but those are better documented in Kehaya’s book on the SKS).

Those are the beginners books. Skeretton book is the one to get.

For the guys that know Enfields, were there a lot of fakes out there?

I.e. like the guys we busted on Gunbroker who were putting fake stampings on Mausers to make them more valuable.

No but Enfield collectors have no problem with enhancing and rebuilding rifles. Mauser Collectors refer to that as humping. The Snipers are a different story. Many are fakes.

  14. I see nothing luxury about those ranges. If free drinks were brought to you while you lounged in a big man leather massage recliner while watching every sporting event from around the globe, and then there was an option for a free hand massage with steam room and sauna, then that is luxury.

  15. Not sure I get the blood in the water for the last few posts, but places like guns for hire do rely volume and special classes vs. the weekend walk in's like many of us on here. I'm not a GFH member, but a while back out of state guys were renting and a box of Remington 9mm was - $27 (where it's normally $10). Their model is to get a one-timers and out of town visitors in at high fees.

Longshots has probably the best membership deal, since if you sign up for a year you can go in on weekends between 8-10 and get a port at no charge - that means if you go twice a month for a year you're in the black.

I think this new place has two disadvantages - GFH is literally 5 minutes closer to NYC and you have to pass by it to get to Reloaderz, and they are near this kinda awkward u-turn if you're on 23 North. I'd rather pay the $30 once every few months and keep my Cherry Ridge membership for most shooting.

Well GFH doesn't look to be in too good of shape so their timing maybe perfect.

As for the cheaper Monmouth and Middlesex deals we do need to admit CJRPC is a non profit. However UHGC manages to do it for $400 a year no other fees 24/7. I was debating whether to renew UHGC and this post made my decision for me. If you guys are paying $400 + range time it is a steal comparatively.
