I got into honey bees and looking to have a no-bells honey extractor made. There are good, professionally made units out there and I dont know if it will be any more economical to have it done locally. But wanted to pass the idea by someone.

Anyone here are into or know someone who is into sheet metal working involving stainless steel ?

Try Altona custom metal in little ferry, NJ. I've used them for some work in the past.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, as long as it is exactly the same as mine.  If you don't like what I like, well then something something Russia, because 'Merica!.

I feel like the biggest problem we face are the gun owners who seem not to identify as gun people.  I don't care what you own (OK, maybe I do, but probably because of jealousy).  I don't feel the need to try to limit what you have because all I have or need is ____.  But there are a lot of people out there who certainly feel like because all they have or want or need is a shotgun or bolt gun, that should be all anyone should have.  No one is forcing these people to get a gun they don't want - but they seem to want to restrict my choices to conform to their version of the world.  I love my bolt guns.  I love my pump shotguns.  I love my lever action.  But, I also love my AR, my AK, and my pistols.  They will vote against their - and MY - interests because it won't affect them... (Yet.)  So, to me, someone online saying a baby blue Taurus is ugly and no one should buy one hardly matters when you compare that to the millions of gun owners out there who would gladly give up our rights - like the ability to own ANY pistols, be it baby blue, pink, or black - so long as their shotgun or bolt rifle or lever gun is exempted.

divide and conquer. Seperate and it's makes it easier to take rights away in smaller groups.

  3. I know it's out there, but think about it. If these terrorists keep up with using vans, trucks to harm people, will we need to get permits or back ground checks to buy/rent vans and/or trucks. We need permits and background checks to by a handgun because some call it a weapon used to kill.  Could this happen in the future here or other countries

favorite 76 Monte Carlo- classy car sorry I got rid of it

Car I always wanted 73 mustang Mach 1. Always liked the look.

Missed the least favorite. 71 vega, when I drove it always thought the end was near, but the car only cost me $75 all I could afford at the time.

On weekends it's packed.  You'll find out soon enough that when your lil one wants something, and has earned it, you will do what is necessary.   Even if that means spending 4 hours in NYC traffic, spending 60 bucks in parking, 30 bucks in tolls and a duece and a half for Chinese made products.  Parenthood

    Birthday.

Guess I'm lucky so far, I have boys. They've been cheaper so far, but I know it's coming. The younger one is into cars.

Just signed up and just found out about this site. I am an avid shooter and try to shoot 3-4 times a month at a minimum. I use to shoot competition and am looking to get back into it. Looking forward using this forum to its fullest!

    Welcome also from Bergen.

  7. If our gun laws are so tough, how did this happen?

Outraged mother June Rodgers of Millville blames bail reform for the murder of her son. He was shot to death on a street in Vineland in April after a verbal dispute with a man driving a car. Cops arrested career criminal Jules Black, who’d been picked up on a separate gun charge four days before, and released with no bail.

  8. I know it's not much, but I always try to bring someone new to the range that has never fired a handgun or has been afraid. At least 1-2 a month sometimes more.  I show them it's not something to fear but to respect, it's not a evil weapon but a tool. It doesn't hurt anyone by itself. If enough people learn this and maybe enjoy going to a range, and are educated that they might NOT be able to enjoy this hobby because of the Dems  they might vote REP.  Already had a number of people apply for a FID card.  We might not change anything this year but maybe in years to come it might change the mentality.

  9. Just a thought.

Why not go to a range and try / rent the calibers before you spend your money on something you don't like.

You might not like the .40 and might really like the .45. It's a few dollars more but at least you might not buy

Something you might not enjoy and sell it for less then you paid.

  10. 1st time starting a topic, hope its in the right place and OK.

This happened in November, just released cell phone video. They talked about a good Samaritan in Florida that saved a deputy's life that was pinned to the ground with a gun on him by shooting the bad guy. They said he was licensed to carry and would not face any charges. If this was NJ the deputy could have been as good as gone. Proof that law abiding citizens with concealed carry is a good thing. Amazing the media said a good thing about a legal gun owner.
