If anyone cares to see the Area 8 match here is a video of my mediocre performance this past Thursday. Managed to get 212 Alphas, 7 Betas, 48 Charlies, 3 Deltas and unfortunately 5 Mikes. At least no procedurals and no no-shoots. Really did for crap on the first stage I shot (which was stage2), those doors did me in. Had a heck of a time on the next to last stage I shot too, which was stage 14. I'll tell you it was a grueling day. Left the house at about 4:30am and did not get home till 8:30pm.

Last week I was down in Florida as all the moons aligned... I had to visit a few clients down there, had to meet a few folks for a business opportunity, wanted to look at some places in case NJ gets really horrible laws..... and the USPSA Area 6 championship just happened to be the same weekend 25 mins away up i-95 in St. Augustine. Worked the match on Friday, and shot it over Saturday/Sunday. Holly hell was there rain and mud everywhere. Clean your mags every time they hit the ground. Also... why you bring extra ammo.... reshoots. I had to reshoot stage 9, a 32 round stage because during scoring, the score keeping RO lost track and could not find the missing target that he missed scoring. This happened to me and the shooter after. Mandatory reshoots. All in all, I feel I shot quite well.... and definitely answered.... Single Stack minor.... the extra 2 rounds are not worth being down 20%, as most stages were quite easy to shoot with 8 round mags too.

Seems like USPSA years are flying by as fast as the forum adding members and years. Just got back from a quick trip to Las Vegas for my second, USPSA Open/Lim 10 nationals. So here is what I learned: 1. Eric Grauffel is the BEST shooter in the world, by far, winning both the Open and Production matches by a good margin. 2. I improved. Shooting Lim 10, finished 69th this year, vs 96th last year, against the best in the world. 3. Know the rules, should of pull a target. 4. NJ Gun Laws SUCK! 5. NJ ranges have a long way to improve. Went to a Las Vegas gun show with goodies gallore. Went to the newest Las Vegas indoor Range, Range 702.... was a pleasure guys, thanks for the vip treatment. Will discuss the points in detail in the near future, here is the shooting video for those interested.

I saw guys at the match yesterday with velco belts used just for holding holsters and mag pouches. I like the Idea since I have no butt i was fighting with my belt and pants all day yesterday. I like the ones that have velcro. Also not looking for ones that are crazy expensive. I dont know if it helps but I am shoot SS 45 with two SA mag pouches and 1 safariland trhey are all 2 mags per. I am also using the Holster that came with SA range officer its a paddle type. I would appreciate any suggestions from where to buy and what you use now. thanks mike

I have a discount for Safariland that I want to use to buy a new belt, mag pouches, and new holster, however don't want to waste it. If you are looking to buy any gear for USPSA or what not, take a look on holsters.com, then send me a pm with what you want. It will be shipped to me.

Just got my staff packet/letter for the dates. 3 gun nationals are moved up to April, Pistol, back in October. Multi Gun Nationals April 11 - 15 There will be staff match this year, and it will count for chance at Prize Table. Limited to first 25 only. Match for staff seems to be 11-12. Limited/Production/Revolver (october 13-16) Open/Limited 10 (October 17-20) You can work one shoot the other match, but you need to have a nationals slot for the match you want to shoot. You can also be put on waitlist to get a slot.

So was following a discussion on Enos forums about a theoretical division for uspsa. Open 10. Essentialy, what Limited 10 is to Limited, but a new division, where you can basically do anything to the gun, optics, compensators, grips, etc, however limited to 10 rounds. So for those already shooting USPSA, would you shoot it? If not, why? If you are not currently shooting USPSA, would you consider this division as you can essentially pimp out your production gun and can shoot it. No need to spend $100 on an STI/SVI magazine, and you can be competitive while staying within NJ's stupid mag laws. Link for those that want to chime in there too. http://www.brianenos...0
