  1. Hello,

    SOLD

Selling my Ruger ranch bolt action rifle chambered in 5.56. / .223 It has MAYBE 50 rounds through it.

Includes a ten round magazine and takes standard AR mags.

Leupold optic just recently installed. I’m selling both for less than the retail cost of rifle, with the hope of a quick sale. I’m in Monmouth County and prefer to use Rich at American Armory in Howell, but I’m flexible.

Please see manufacturer’s websites below for a better description:

The usual rule of whoever says “I’ll take it” applies and thanks for looking.

  2. 01/30/2023: SOLD

    Hello,

Selling my clean and well cared for 96A1, the .40 version of the 92FS. It has around 200 rounds through it and comes with original box, manual and three magazines. It’s a barrel change away from being 9mm if you’re into that sort of thing. It’s also equipped with a rail for a light etc.

Price is $550 and I’ll include 100 rds of quality ammunition. My preferred FFL is American Armory in Howell (Monmouth County) but I could meet at any of the other FFLs that are close by.

First to say I’ll take it gets the deal. Thank you for looking.

  3. SOLD

I’ve had this for a few years and since I retired it from camping gun duties it has been living in the safe.

    From the Charter Arms website:

”Introducing the Charter Arms .40 caliber Pitbull. The unique design provides a dual coil spring assembly located in the extractor which allows for the insertion and retention of the .40 caliber cartridge in each chamber of the revolvers’ cylinder. (No moon clips required) This patented system allows the shooter ease of ejecting spent cartridges for immediate reloading.

Blacknitride™is a new, proprietary process that adds hardness to the finish of the revolver. It also reduces friction and wear.

With a scratch-resistant surface and extended life in the rifling and chambers, Blacknitride™keeps your Charter handgun looking – and working – like new!

Charter Arms has taken the difficulty of rimless loading and ejection to the simplicity of the rimmed cartridge in the revolver industry.”

Mine has between 50 and 75 rounds through it. You won’t be shooting dime sized groups from 25yds, but it’s fun and reliable.

Buyer will obviously need a current and valid FID card that matches their ID (and valid permit, unless the FFL agrees to hold the firearm in the interim) I’d like to use my local FFL  in Howell (American Armory) and the transfer / NICS fees will be on the buyer. However, I’m willing to go to any Monmouth County FFL if buyer has a preferred dealer.

I’ll include 50 rounds of .40 at the asking price. Thank you for looking and please let me know if my price seems off.

$275 includes the handgun, original case and 50rds of quality .40 and a basic Desantis holster.

First to post “I’ll take it” gets the firearm. Thank you.

  4. I’ve been cc’ing a (work supplier) G23 year round for most of the last two decades. Like you, I never really gel’d with any of the sub compacts that have come along in that time. (big hands yada yada). All that said, I’m picking up a Sig 365 xmacro this week and it’ll be the first time I’ve bought a dedicated cc gun. I got to handle / manipulate one on a trip out west last month but I’m yet to shoot it. It remains to be seen if it will “shoot like a big gun” or if I’m about to be duped by Guntube influencers. I’ll report back here…

    Welcome!

Where do you shoot normally?  What do you shoot normally?

    Hi and thanks!

Other than a couple of excursions a year, I just shoot at police ranges. I’ll be at the Monmouth County outdoor range tomorrow AM. I’ve been meaning to join the range down at Dix but complacency etc….

These-days I don’t do much more than qualify with our three load outs; G23, Remington 870 and a ModMat patrol rifle.

In a couple of former lives I’ve lives with with a couple of M4 variants along with H&K UMP (45) and the much loved MP5.

At home I have kind of an oddball mishmash, a basic Ruger ranch (5.56), M1A Socom, a weird but satisfying Beretta, mandatory shotgun, Charter pit bull (in case I ever get attacked by Care-bears). The most fun gun I’ve picked up in a while is a Canik TP something or other. I don’t have enough quality time with any of the firearms I own, hence the need to join a decent club / civilian range.

  6. Small world… I met Greg in 2019 at a Jiu Jitsu seminar a mutual friend and former co-worker was hosting in Coeur D Alene Idaho (hope I spelled that correctly).

Someone asked what he did with money raised by a gofundme: I’ve no first hand knowledge of how that money was spent but I do know that Greg hosts a good podcast now, travels and teaches BJJ and firearms / tactics. From the little time I spent around him, I wouldn’t be surprised if a portion any funds raised went towards a cause he believes in.
