  2. sorry all... I am simply unaware of the current Ammo Pricing and lack of supply. I have adjusted some trade numbers to reflect availability and cost. $350 for 500rd of 9mm 115gr Win is ridiculous!

Morning all I have some 5.56 and 5.45 to trade. Not trying to leverage the market and I think these trades are equitable.

    5.56

    PPU (Privi Partisan) m193 55gr 200rd in a sealed battle pack. Trade for 300rds 9mm or 300rds .40sw. Sell for $175

SOLD: IMI 77gr Razor Core OTM LR, 100rds. Trade for 250rds 9mm or .40sw. Sell for SPF

    5.45x39

    60 rds of Wolf 60gr, for 50rds 9mm or .40sw. Sell for $40

Make an offer. I would also take 12g shotshells, 10mm or .357... Something to motivate me to burn a PPP.

Located in Cherry Hill. First post with "I will take it" wins. Need FID and DL to complete sale.

  3. There was a shop outside Atlanta that specialized in CZs well before most people had ever heard of them. He would routinely pull two of three mags to sell online at $40 a pop before he would put the gun online. You had to catch him at it or it would turn into an argument. He would try to justify it as the only way he made money. So sketchy.

There are crooks all over. Buyer Beware.

  4. I know those buildings and have been in meetings with those folks. Cant say i recall names and faces well from two meetings, will have to go through old emails. This hits home , so stupid.

Haters gonna go after suppressors big time now.

  5. About the most unimaginitive members only...

Why M4s? All 5000? No sidearms... ok. But that doesnt answer the question. This isnt serious, it supposed to fun to stimulate discussion other than NJ sucks and glocks blow discussions.

    Here is my example

    200 knights mk110 Leupold Mk4 LR/T 3.5-10x40mm 9000 each  (1.8mil) Gives me 1 DMR per 25.

4800 tavor b16 1500 each (7.2mil). Tavor works well in all enviroments, rugged and proven. Adaptable to my troopers.

    5000 g19 475 each (2.375mil). Stupid simple and reliable.

    5000 kabars 75 each (37k)

Puts me at 11.4mil and negotiate down to 10mil.

  6. What is the nature of threat?  You would also need support weapons.  Crew served machine guns, at least some mortars, anti-armor capability, some air defense weapons, and some artillery.  You'll never beat off invaders with just small arms.
Handling one logistical component at a time. And when I want to arm my artillery, air cav, air force and navy I will go to those forums. Not one dedicated to small arms, although I am sure there are plenty of experts here on those subjects.

  7. I want to bring a little fun back to forums. So bear with me.

You are king of an island. About the size of Puerto Rico, hilly, not too rugged with heavy forest on south and east edges about 5 miles inland, but mostly grass lands in interior. Temperate climate. One major airport, two ports, 4 large cities (>50k citizens) rest are farm to market hamlets.
    Total pop 275k.
You have a Island Defense Force of 5000 soldiers. You have sufficiently supplied them with personal items, uniforms, boots, backs etc etc.
Now you need to arm them. Using MSRP prices minus 25% for contract purchase (you might need a new master of coin) and a budget of 10mil. Arm them all.

You can say 2000 per soldier... or 1000 on 500 and remainder on 4500... however you want to do it, but each soldier must have one sidearm and one long gun.
     oh... and a sharp tool.

Ammo is not counted yet... that might be another question for later.

  8. Not too common!

I had one years ago. Loved it, traded and regret it. People whined that they kick, but they are only slightly more then a gas gun.
VERY Reliable. Easy to load quickly.
I am currently looking for another one.

  9. Thought that might happen. I was shocked when I picked up a Archangel on a Loaded model at the Oaks Gun Show. Just sort of unwieldy... I see it's use, it would take some time to get used to.

Use the original stock and the irons... you will be amazed at how satisfying iron sight shooting is at a distance.

  10. Go online to Gunbroker. Find an auction for a BNIB Gen3 Glock 19/17.

    Bid 399.

There you go... sub $400 polymer 9mm that wont break, make you doubt your purchase, you wont want to sell it two months after purchase because you should have bought something else, mags are cheap as dirt, upgrades are cheap as dirt, holsters are cheap as dirt etc etc etc.

I am not a glock fanboy... I just want to save you time and money.

  11. Lambo... got it.

Contact Golf battery about his ArchAngel Stock. Try it, see if you like it for the advantages it gives you versus the lower investment. All the other stocks for M1a, to use my buddy TacticalMonkey's favorite saying, seem to be made of made from unobtanium! The archangel gives you cheek rise, LOP adjustability, sling and bipod attachments points. Personally, I have found the replacement stocks to be bulky, weight adding and less ergonomic than the standard birch / plastic stocks. The only one I would acquire is the Sage EBR with slider ... verboten in NJ... and make it a DMR. I cant help drooling over them though.

I have come to think of the M1a models as the modern equivalent of bolt action battle rifles of the early 20th century. They excel at durability, power, shooting and accuracy. Same as the 1903a, K98 etc etc.

Making one a tactical door kicking tool is not ideal. Making one a long range marsmanship rifle... easy and rewarding.

  12. Mine is 6R/8F.

I think your low and left shooting is more of a grip/pressure issue. The MK25 has thick grip panels, I found myself pushing right at first ( I am lefty) when I was holding the gun to tightly. When I loosen my grip, try to maintain pressure on the front strap and back strap only my POI matched my POA. I liked the panels, but the thickness did affect me, I have med/large hands so I went ahead and swap the grip panels for an E2 grip recently. Need to go check how that shoots soon.

Also, Is this your first DA/SA pistol? Are your results with DA or SA shots? DA... make sure trigger is coming straight back and not putting pressure on right side of trigger.

I practiced for hours with a empty shell case or a quarter balance right behind the front sight sight, and worked the DA trigger to get the correct pressure and muscle memory.  I can get to 25 pulls before a quarter falls off. 8 with a spent case which is much lighter.
