so who picked up the new 4th generation glock 22? i wondering what is the opinion of veteran glock owners on on this new glock compared to the last generation. i really would like to hear from people who actually fired and handled this pistol...

i just purchased a 4th gen glock 22, and i plan to put it through its paces saturday at brick amory when i pick it up, i would like to buy some ammo in bulk, what should i get and where are the best prices. is there any type of ammo i should avoid? i was shooting some reloads with my brother this past weekend i didnt care for that much...

so what nr rating is recommended for normal range shooting?

i picked up a pair of Caldwell E-Max Low Profile Electronic Ear Muffs 487-557. but now i would like to understand what is the nrr rating?

i just purchased my first pistol, so i was looking on ebay for some eyes and ears, i see that they have some higher tech ones, that claim they let you hear the spoken word but block loud noises. do they really work? any recommendations would be appreciated.

i went to glocks website to clear this up some more, but the site sucks! i found nothing that on there about this. im doing a little research it seems there is the rtf and rtf2, but what are they calling the gen 4? rtf 3? im a little confused now...but i found this on you tube

i wanted to give everyone an update. i have been shooting in alot of different places since i started this thread, i realy took my time, and fired alot of different guns. i would like to thank everyone at caso's, shore shot, bullet hole, brick armory, nj firearms guild... i ended up purchasing a glock 22 4th gen. at brick armory, nice guys and nice range. i would also like to thank this forum for all the information, it really helped alot....

i handled both the glock 22 rtf and the glock 22 4th gen. they are different, the rtf has those little pologonal dot like things on the surface, where the 4th gen has the little squares thats similar but a little rougher than gen 3, am i missing something? do you think they would continue making 3rd gen, rtf and the 4gen grips? that would be 3 different polymer grips glock would be manufacturing.

hi all, i was wondering since glock is moving to the fourth gen, they will eventually stop making 3rd gen and rtf models, will the rtf model be worth something in the future since it was a limited run making it a rare gun?

i was looking at getting a glock 22 rtf, but i handled the glock 22 4th gen and really liked it! the texture on the 4th is a little more aggressive than the 3rd gen but not as aggressive as the rtf. what i wanna know does that extra spring in the 4th gen help with recoil? is it a noticeable difference? i shot a 3rd gen glock 22 and it felt great to me, it was smoother than other guns i have shot...

hi i know the rules have changed but when you say you can only purchase 1 a month does that include rifles and shotguns?

oh i forgot to mention its a model 19-4 if that means anything. so what do you think i should tell him to convinve him next time we speak? i dont want to make'em feel bad, that he is selling his gun way over what its actually worth...

well i got a better look at her, and shes nice, clean, no cracks. he already tried to sell it at a gun shop and they offered him only 250.00, so figured i'll offer him 300.00 cash and thought we will haggle and he will meet me around 325.00. he repsonded by saying its a nice gun, he wants at least 600.00! i couldnt respond... but his nephew is gonna bring him down to earth and see if he will let it go for the price im offering we will see.... i really like the piece i hope he sells it to me....

is that 530.00 out the door?
