Thanks for letting me shoot the AR @ BA last night Tony. Nice Rifle! Was fun to shoot and see some of you guys again. I am new there and from Manahawkin. Not sure what you mean? There is indeed a "bolt hold-back" on my 10/22. Through activation, the bolt can be opened and slided back to the rear and left in the "open" position? According to Ruger, all of the firearms I own from them can be safely dry-fired without any damage to the firearm.

I might beg to differ with that statement... but the .22 is easy enough though!
