  1. Washington State's Mag Ban struck down (Injunction) by the Superior court, however the WA AG filed an appeal to the WA Supreme court, and the ruling was stayed, and the ban is still in effect.  So..... Yay?  I don't know if this can help us on the 10th or not.

Took the wife and kid up to Lake Champlain (South Hero, VT) for a few days to see the eclipse from the totality zone. It is so nice and calm here. The weather is crisp (going to be 61 today, but we had snow flurries on Saturday) and clear. We booked our place last spring - so we got a cheap rate. Got our glasses when we booked our cottage.

Hope everyone enjoys it and stays safe!

I grew up up there.  It's definitely nice and calm... and nothing to do.

  4. I usually wear an XL or 2XL on shirts to have them be looser.  Also - thicker material helps vs thin.

I did just order a couple of the Vedder wedges - gonna see if they help to push in the grip butt a bit...  Will try it with a couple different holsters and see how it helps.

    What belt are you using?

Are you using any kind of wedge?

Get rid of any plastic clips you have and use Discrete Carry Concepts belt clips. Make sure the clips are sized to your belt.

Make sure you have some kind of a belt camming bar on your holster.

I carry my G19 with RDS and light (TLR7a) in a Tenicor Sagax Lux on an Ares Gear belt every day and have no issues. The Tenicor holsters come with an integral wedge and adjustable camming bar. They are great holsters. You should try them - (you may have to get a different light, not sure if your setup is compatible).

I do need to get a couple of wedges… which ones are you using?

  6. Lately, I've been wearing a fleece vest to help hide the printing.  This with holsters even with a claw.  Crossbreed Reckoning and Safariland IncogX for my G48 and P365 XMacro w/ Romeo Zero respectively.  I definitely notice the P365 prints more or has more protrusions with the RDS and longer grip.  I may try swapping out back to irons with the P365 and switching to the Wilson Combat grip which is P365X size, to see if that is less... pokey.

When it gets warmer, I may have to switch back to 5:00 Carry or a smaller gun or shorter grip.

Keep sending your monies to the NJ lawyers / Organizations who have been at best over the years, unsuccessful ....these organization are like money sponges that keep filing meaningless papers with the legal system...as I said, if it weren't for Thomas we here would be back to point Zero and after all these years and dollars / donations with little results.....it's time to address the real issue of 2A and not these concessions and deals that these organizations / lawyers keep making......meaningless.....omo.

All I can say is... stay tuned.

The one I have in a what we call a pistol config here was never built as a rifle.  The 4473 transfered the lower as "other firearm" (lower, receiver, etc)

All of my ARs were transferred as "other firearm" and built from stripped lowers.

Then you should be fine if you convert them to non-nfa "other" firearms.  Swap out the stocks for braces, make sure there's a VFG on them, and the OAL is greater than 26"

Non NFA AOW seems to be a way to be legal in NJ?

The ? I had posted with M1 Carbine is more of a "why that of all things banned"

Unfortunately if they're already rifles, they can't technically be turned into Non-NFA Other Firearms.  You're better off selling or making compliant.

M1 Carbine is banned by name due to the Plainfield Riots.... It doesn't make sense.  It's an infringement plain and simple.  Unfortunately there's no way to bring one in legally.  I would sell that one off (or find a place out of state to store it long term).
