  1. This is my DPMS 5.56. Before and After. And a little DPMS .308 thrown in there for good measure. I like the look of the red dot atop the carry handle vs the red dot atop the flattop.
  2. Yes, I mean a vertical grip on the handguard.
  3. Is it illegal in Nj to have a pistol grip style handle on your handguard?
  4. Yes, this is the best option. All I need is a hunting license. How long does that take to get?
  5. Idk. I have like 200 rds of buck, bird, and slugs to fire off. I think people at the indoor range will just get pissed. I know I do when I'm at the BH and someone next to me is firing their ar15 at 20yds and causing all that excessive pressure. Or better, a .308.
  6. I do belong to CR. I just never brought my shotguns. Maybe ill try to blast away there during the week as you suggested.
  7. Will do. I am going to start applying ASAP. FL, AZ,UT,VA. And I can contact GFH to help me with this correct? What do I need to get all these permits besides money?
  8. Will do. I am going to start applying ASAP. FL, AZ,UT,VA. And I can contact GFH to help me with this correct?
  9. That. I have to get a hunting license. Thanks
  10. Yeah the BH is tuff for shotguns. It's really loud, even with ears. What is RANGE 14?
  11. Where is the best place to go to shoot shotguns? I am not looking for clay pigeon or skeet shooting. I just want to shoot at paper and just rack up some rounds. Basically just want to shoot the **** out of them to test functionality and reliability.
  12. Good points. So my best bet would be FL, VA, UT, and AZ. Excellent info. But again, didn't AZ change to a no permit required state?
  13. Why would you get a VA and AZ carry permit if you had a Florida carry permit? According to my research a FL permit is accepted in VA and AZ. And I thought in AZ you didn't need a permit to carry? I didn't know you had to own land in SC. I just saw they issued non-resident carry permits.
  14. Gun For Hire. I have to check him out. I actually live around the corner from him, I think. I see his pickup in the driveway all the time. I started researching myself. It seems if I got a Florida and South Carolina, that would cover driving to Florida with the exception of Maryland/DC. Funny though, almost no other state recognize a NJ carry permit.
  15. So, let me get this straight. I could apply for CCW permits in FL,VA, and Utah and be able to legaley carry in 33-35 states? That is very interesting. And I can get this done all in one place? On another note, has anyone actually ever applied for a carry permit in NJ? I think every gun owner in NJ should apply. This way if anything happens to any of use law abiding citizens we could make a strong case againt the state.
  16. I agree 9mm is cheaper and easier to learn with. But I would buy a 15rd compact frame autoloader rather than a stopped down full size. Heck that Beretta PX4 SubCompact 9mm I have feels like im shooting a .22lr.
  17. True. But I feel I don't need the extra pistol size for the same amount of rounds of the smaller compact version. The PX4 compact also retains the same rotating barrel action as the full size (unlike the subcompact) and it will fit most of the full size PX4 holsters. Night sights will be availabe shortly. If night sights are needed immediatly and is a deal breaker, then forget it for now. Living in NJ with 15rd restrictions only makes sense to buy .40 in full size (in my opinion ofcourse). With the exception of the Beretta 92, which is standard full size 15rd 9mm.
  18. Well in the OP the guy is looking at the Glock 19 which is the compact model, so I figured I recommend compact models. I know the Beretta is new and parts and holsters are not that available yet, but they will be eventually. I wanted to give a excellent, reasonably priced (unilke sigs), reliable, hammer fired example that held 15rds of 9mm. I dont like to recommend full size 9mm pistols to NJ residents as we are limited to 15rds and most full size these days are 17rd. Having a 17rd gun with a 15rd mag dosent make sense to me. If the OP was considering .40 I would recommend the full size PX4 (14+1). And the only reason I recommended the full size M&P is because they dont make a 15rd compact like Beretta and Glock, but it does have the shortest trigger reach distance which will help with small hands. Also, the M&P 9c (acatually more of a sub-compact)only holds 12rds, whereas the op asked for 13-15rds, so that eliminated that option. I could also recommend the Beretta SubCompact 9mm 13rd (which I have and really like), but the grip is fat and the trigger reach is the furthest of all my pistols.
  19. 3 of the best. In my opinion, ofcourse. Glock G 19 Gen 4 - 15rd, stiker fired, DOA, no external safety, adjustable backstraps Beretta PX4 Compact 9mm (not sub compact)- 15rd, hammer fired, DA/SA, external safety/decocker, rotating barrel, adjustable backstraps S&W M&P 9mm Full Size - "17rd but they make 15rd mags for NJ", stiker fired, DOA, with or without external safaties, adjustable backstraps For small hands I find the S&W M&P series to fit the bill. It has the shortest reach to the trigger, very comfortable. I own a M&P 40c and am very fond of the gun. My wife has small hands and it is the easiest one for her to shoot with the short trigger distance. I also own a Glock 19 Gen4. and a Beretta PX4 .40 full size. That being said, if I could only have 1, it would be the Glock 19 Gen4. I can shoot 45rds (3mags) through the same 2" hole at 7yds with it.
  20. Good choice and good luck. I bought the gen 4 Glock 23 myself. It quickly became my favorite handgun. I think it even has less recoil than my Beretta PX4 Storm. And I am super fast and accurate with it. If I had to choose only 1 handgun, it would be the Glock Gen4 G23!!
  21. DPMS LR-308 W/24" SS Heavy Barrel, Zeiss Conquest 4-14x w/Rapid Z-1000 Reticle
  22. Nice piece, gotta love those 92 platform Berettas. Here is some more eye candy. A 92FS and A 96FS Inox.
