  1. I have the P30s and PX4 Storm in 9mm. Both are fantastic guns.

    Px4 mag issue?

You may want to leave the mags loaded for a bit, that'll break in the mag spring. What type of ammo are you using? I've been using 115gr. I can't imagine it's a weight issue, I have 3 15 rd mags and they sit just fine. They work just as well as my 10 rd mags. Take some pics, it may help to see what the issue is.

    Px4 mag issue?

Sorry to hear that. I have a full size PX4 9mm and don't have that issue. Mine is only 2 months old and I have about 400 rounds through it without any problems. Does it lock in place with an empty mag? You may want to see if your local range has some mags hanging around to try out, to see if it's a mag issue or an issue with the gun. Check to see if the mag release is in place, or maybe order some 15rd mags from CDNN (you're gonna do this at some point anyway). And are you sure the slide is on correctly. You may want to break it down and put the slide back on and try again. Good luck, let me know how you make out.
  4. Congrats on the purchase. I picked up my first gun two weeks ago, a full size PX4. The dealer I purchased mine from had both the compact and full size in stock so I got to hold both. I ended up picking the full size, just because it felt a little better in my hand. I went to the range the past two weekends and put about 250 rounds through it with no problems. It's an awesome gun, and I'm sure the compact is just as good.
  5. Sorry, that sucks. Trust me, the PX4 is worth the wait. I think NICS closes at a certain time at night, so don't go to late either. I think it's 8pm, but I'm not sure.
  6. Below is a link to what the ATF form is. After you fill this form out, just ask the guys to make a copy for you. I didn't know I needed this until I started filling out the Beretta form for the holster. It says it's required on there, so I had to make a trip back to get the copy of the form. My link
  7. Sorry to hear that... I just picked up my PX4 F last week. I took it to the range this weekend and put about 150 rounds through it. No problems, it performed like a champ. Now I just gotta wait for my Hogue grip, stealth decocker, and 15 round mags to come in. Oh and if you want to get that free holster from Beretta, make sure you get a copy of the ATF form. You need to send this with your forms to Beretta. My dealer didn't give this to me, I had to make a trip back to get a copy.

    PX4 mags

Do these fit the full size PX4? Are they good quality?
  9. 1. Application type (FID/permit w/ existing FID) -Initial FID and 1 Pistol Permit 2. Police Department where you applied - Mount Laurel PD 3. Name of the person you dealt with at the PD - I don't remember his name, but he was a Detective and very nice 4. Time taken to issue FID and/or permit - Applied on 7/14, *edit* received the letter yesterday, 8/3. Will be picking up the FID and P2P today. So total of 20 days! 5. Documents required by the PD (aside from the standard application and the mental health release form) - Nothing additional 6. Notes - anything pertaining to the application process (unforeseen difficulties, chief of police calling your home, you hiring an attorney, etc.) - The whole process has been pretty easy so far, references received their letters 3 days after I applied, fingerprinting was done last week, and all the forms have been filled out. So just waiting on the SP now. Mt. Laurel PD was pretty nice to deal with, everybody was plesant and friendly, had me in and out in only a few mins.
