  1. I was slowly paying for a gun via payment option on online. I had just made the final payment and he is ready to ship and asking for FFL info. the problem is between when the payment plan started and when it ended I decided it would be fun to stop renting and buy a house. The house closing besides taking forever (stupid USAA + VA loan) went off without an issue and now i have my house. I have updated my DL but never put the sticker on the back of my DL. I mistakenly told the dealer my new town and now i know he is going to question why i have x town on my DL and FID (they still match) when i said y town. Should I put a hold and wait (laugh) 6 more months or just find another FFL and dont say anything about the new address?
  2. I have a friend that has been trying to get a FID for almost 2 years. Yes that is correct almost two years they are coming up on maybe 19 months now and everytime they ask the "chief" is always getting ready to retire or its in the "back channels" now. Is there anything that can be done about his? Can they just reapply at the NJSP and be done with this town. I thought Long Branch was bad with 90 days and their chief calling you up and asking what guns you were buying and why you were buying them but at least i got them. Its pretty sad that I got my FL CCW in 30 days yet stuff like this goes on .
  3. hmm, so what impact would this have on my gun? I have a platinum chrome desert eagle mark XIX. It was bought in .44 config however i have the barrel to convert it to .50 cal. The ability to swap the barrels was the reason i went for the mark XIX instead of the cheaper mark VII. If this law passes would it render my DE illegal due to having the ability to become a .50 cal or would it just make it illegal to have the .50 cal barrel equipped in NJ?
  4. So its 3:30 in the morning and got a Calculus III test today, instead of sleeping or going over last min stuff I'm randomly looking at websites online. Why? Because good old NJ doesn't just pull its jury duty pool from voting records they also troll the DMV records. For years i have never bothered to register to vote as I was hoping I would avoid this crap all together, but alas NJ isn't like most states (ha, isn't it the truth) and again pulls from DMV records. Anyway so i have jury duty today and I already know I'm not going to be selected but going to use this to buy me more time. I plan on telling the judge I'm a strong believer of jury nullification and I will make sure my fellow jurors are informed of it. That should get me off faster than anything. Also before anyone comments on the not registered to vote. Save it, one vote doesn't matter Can you bring a laptop while waiting to be questioned? I could use the time to setup the decoy OS on my fully encrypted hdd while waiting to be questioned.
  5. Posting back on here because i do not know why but everyone thinks im trolling or this is some kind of joke. Anway he got his bill with the code 296.90 I found this online but we are confused how this is going to affect him if it does at all. " 2012 ICD-9-CM Diagnosis Code 296.90 Unspecified episodic mood disorder Mood disorder not otherwise specified (MD-NOS) is designated by the DSM-IV as the diagnostic code (296.90) for mood disorders that are impairing but do not fit in with any of the officially specified diagnoses. According to the DSM-IV, MD-NOS encompasses "any mood disorder that does not meet the criteria for a specific disorder." An adolescent or an adult can be affected by a MD-NOS. An example of a MD-NOS can include being in minor depression frequently in various intervals such as once every month or once in three days.[1] This is essentially a blanket term for any mood disorder that is not covered under its own term in the DSM-IV." so let me guess because this is NJ and they decided to hit him with this "blanket diagnos" its over for him? Would it explain the visit with the feds? yes that really did happen. i have the agent name and number which i wont post on here for obvious reasons.
  6. Just a warning to those out there...careful what you say. Just when he thought it was over he gets a knock on the door early morning by 2 people. And get ready for this. .. .. ... .. They were Special Agents from the FBI that wished to go over what had happened in the school. You really gotta love this "see something say something " crap. Well i learned an important lesson from what happened to him. Don't say anything to anyone or don't say anything out in public. All this over a "misunderstanding" wow. Anyway careful out there guys.
  7. Once again thanks all for the advice here. I talked to him over the weekend to see what he plans to do and he will be contacting lawyers and including the ACLU (i have my doubts about that) and see what he can do in terms of suing them. I think what got him pissed the most was when he was being discharged was the screener that was going over the discharge information said that he should probably write a letter to his school and apologize for this. Is this the normal libtard way of thinking? They basicly kidnap the guy and force him into a hospital and he should be the one that apologizes for him not being found dangerous. They probably told him that in case he was going to sue then in some crazy way he would be admitting fault and have no grounds. I don't know i don't have a liberal retards brain and i don't understand or follow their way of thought.
  8. I got a little bit more information from him just to clarify on what had happened. When the police had shown up they refused to provide him with much if any information. The "crisis" workers shown up and talked to him, he answered their questions and at no point in time was any threats made or any comments about hurting anyone including himself. The "crisis" workers couldn't make the call themselves and went back to their car and called in the hospital and it was determined over the phone while they were in the car that he should be bought in. They came back and said "because everything that has happened today the doctor feels its best for you to come in"...i find it strange that they said that "happened today" nothing had happened at all except them contacting him. He tried to talk his away out of it, however the crisis workers wouldn't hear it. He knew it was a lost battle and the cops were just waiting for him to try something so instead of putting up a scene he just went in the cop car without being retrained in anyway..no cuffs no physical resistance. Here is the killer part...when being released he was asked to sign a medical release back to the school...when asked why what information they would be telling the school the person replied "so we can let them know you aren't a dangerous person".
  9. what possible reason would i need to troll? Because of my low post count? Kind of busy and while i would like to post more with work and school + other stuff i do I don't have much time to post on forums. Anyway i asked him if I could scan a fraction of proof of the document showing the discharge only sorry but he would rather any other information not be posted so everything else has been removed. EDIT: Thanks for the help for on this guys ..i have passed along some of the suggestions about seeking legal suit and he might be looking into doing so.
  10. He was taken to a local hospital to their local "crisis" area. ..was never cuffed during the process. During his time there he said he spoke to 3 different people and then was set home. The first one was the basic medical screening, the 2nd was the "screener" and the 3rd was the doc. The doc and screener both told him it seemed to be a mistake and on the discharge paperwork was checked "not a danger to himself, others blah blah" EDIT: Also he had never lost his FID was just worried about losing it and he was telling me the cops tried several tactics to get a chance to look in his house, however thankfully I've educated him on several flexyourrights videos and declining police searches or even allowing them to talk to you in your house. There was nothing really written on the paperwork for the discharge other than the above not a danger.
  11. Ah thanks for the fast response and i had meant 26 not 25 for the second one. and yes it was good he wasnt in too long...still its a sad shape country is becoming with this crap.
  12. So my friend is all upset that his chances of getting anymore PPs are gone or even possibly having his FID revoked. last week at the university i was discussing a few things with him and asked when the next time we would stop by the range for some target pratice. His reply was that Physiscs was giving him a bit of trouble and he was already worried about passing the class even though the semseter had just started and was a bit depressed over the course load so didnt know when he would get to the range. Anyway, some idiot over heard our discussion and informed some higherup at the school that someone at the school that had guns was depressed. The next day he had a visit by a cop and someone from the hosptial. He tried to tell them say everything was alright but they pulled that "NJ has 72 hours screening" and took him in.after speaking to the psychologist he was released the same day." I think he said with all the waiting he was out in maybe 6 hours or less..if that matters at all. Does he have to answer yes to question 23 or 25? Or can he answer no since although he was taken there he was never techinally admitted or "observed". I'm not sure the wording of those two questions is not exaclty 100% clear. Thanks
  13. Any other state no, but lets not forget this is USSR NJ here where you have to beg for your rights and already have to have refs in order to get a pp or fid
  14. I'm not sure how many saw that recent article about how "psychologists" and such said if you dont have a facebook or twitter profile you are "suspicious" and could be a "psychopath". It got me wondering how long before NJ is going to start requiring you to have a facebook profile and they have to have access to it before they will issue your pp or FID and if you dont have it that means you'll be fighting the appeal in court. I don't have facebook and I never well, i consider it to be a cancer in sociality and nothing good comes from it for the most part. The reason i have for some concern is such gems from the article are like this "The German magazine Der Taggspiege went so far as to point out that accused theater shooter James Holmes and Norwegian mass murder Anders Behring Breivik have common ground in their lack of Facebook profiles." My favorite part was this "The tech news site slashdot summed up Der Taggspiegel's story about social networking as 'not having a Facebook account could be the first sign that you are a mass murderer" i dont have facebook so i must be a mass murder i just dont know it yet. With all the libtards running this state I see this coming our way very soon.
  15. I would never allow them in. I would agree to meet outside my door and i would tell the officer sorry but your kind is not welcome inside without a valid warrent. I have nothing to hide but at the same time i dont go invlting trouble either. I dont consent to searches or invasion of any form of privacy from police. Hell, once my Defcon one app is complete I may put it on android market. its going to be great app to use against police who believe they can "seize" your phone whenver they want. in one click of a button it will randomize a password, and if it isnt unlocked in x hours it will erase the entire phone. But thankfully my town doesnt do this, they maybe extremely slow but none of this house visiting crap. I dont care if it was 10 below and he was asking to come in, not gonig to happen.
