  1. Anyone out there willing to lend a hand?
  2. Looking for someone in Morris county area, or even Mercer county(I work down there) that is very familiar with the xl650. I'm new to reloading and just getting used to machine. Made about 300 rounds 45acp when spent primer chute backed up and locked up shellplate and case feed at station one. I cleared the primers but still not indexing or feeding cases all the way into station one. Hoping someone local can lend a hand. Thanks all.
  3. Great news Peter! Can't wait. Anthony
  4. Anthony Was great to check out the range and see you today. Place looks amazing. Looking forward to sending a few down range when you're open. Anthony (Doc)
  5. As for Anthony C, yes he is a great guy and a stellar example of a class act, great business man and at the top as far as customer satisfaction.
  6. I don't post much here but will chime in for what it's worth. I'm a member at RTSP and was there today as well, in fact I'm there about twice a week. That said I don't consider myself anyone special but always get greeted, usually by name, and have overall had great experiences. In fact, today one of the owners stopped to say hello and show me some very nice high end pistols that just came in even though I was not "shopping". I also watched as they showed other customers their own firearms. I'm not trying to be a "fan boy" but just trying to give my opinion. My take is theses guys are honest, hard working enthusiasts/new business men that are decent guys that are growing a business and learning the ins and outs of dealing with customers and their needs. There will be good and not as great experiences that I'm sure will get weeded out as time goes. Anthony
  7. Thank you very much for the offer. I actually have a rifle on order with the company that makes the brake. They will take off the threads and permanently attach it to the rifle, pin the stock and send it out NJ watered down compliant.
  8. Thank you all. Placed a call to have the outer threads removed. Better compliant than cool. Lol.
  9. To be clear, the brake has threads on the outside. This is the brake, no not ordering a suppressor. http://shopwilsoncombat.com/Rapid-Thread-Muzzle-Break-Flat-Back-Whisper-Suppressor/productinfo/SP%2DRTMBFB%2D30/ This is what comes on the rifle instead of the flash hider. It is permanently pinned/welded on. Just not sure if the outside threads need to be removed. Thanks guys.
  10. I have a rifle on order that should be in soon. The manufacturer installs either a fixed flash hider(no go here in NJ) and a fixed muzzle brake that is threaded. Are threaded brakes ok in NJ or do I need to ask to have the threads ground off?
  11. Im the OP on this thread and seeing how so much interest lately, I have another question along same lines for the pros here. I'm interested in a Wilson Combat upper with their muzzle brake permanently pinned by them. The brake has threads on the outside for screwing on a supressor. I have no urge to use one at all but like the brake and its all they offer. My question is this: Do the outside threads need to be ground off or is it NJ compliant as is. Let me re-iterate, it does NOT have a suppressor with it. Thanks
  12. Placard a small order w/ powder valley. Vv n320 and vv n310 and some Win LPP Thanks. Have not bought a press yet. Just getting some supplies and doing homework. Hoping to find someone to get me started/mentor before I dive in. Looking at Hornady LnL AP.
  13. Anyone know where to get Vihtavuori N320 and Winchester large pistol primers in NJ. Everyone always out of primers and can't find stocking VV shop. Thanks.
  14. RTSP in Randolph usually has a few complete AR's. Stag, M&P and LWRC. Always have a couple interesting things there.
  15. So there is no problem buying a threaded 14.5" barrel and sending to nj as long as its taken to a gun smith to have the appropriate brake permanently installedTo make it at least 16"?
  16. Thanks johnp. That's less than an hour from me. Web site says they pretty much do everything I need and seem to get great reviews.
  17. Can anyone recommend a gunsmith in northern NJ (Sussex/Morris) that's done this before? Looking for clean work. Thanks all
