"(5) Places where intoxicating substances are sold, places where large groups of individuals congregate, and places where volatile conditions may pose a threat to public safety; and"

So all of this has been challenged, right? It is currently unenforceable, correct? I can go to a restaurant that serves alcohol band have a glass of wine with dinner, while carrying , right?

And where does July 2023 come into this picture?

The cavity is filled... It's a pretty grey area round...

Is that enough to be considered a HP though?

I wonder how many people swung from a rope becuase they were in a "Gray Area"

Also most laws are Narrow Black and Narrow White with HUGE gray areas in between... NJ Is especially good at intentionally doing that.

  3. So A convicted felon gets caught with not 1, but 2 guns and one of them was stolen! I'm trying to figure out the other gun...

He is sentenced to 5 years.

He is eligible for parole in 1 year. NJ Gun Laws as stupid as the ones making these laws in Trenton

    Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, provided

A Millville man was sentenced Thursday to five years in prison for illegal firearm possession, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said.

Marquise Milledge, 26, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a handgun. The court denied a request from Milledge’s attorney to put the defendant on probation, opting instead to impose the negotiated sentence recommended by the state, the Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release.

Milledge was arrested in Atlantic City on July 18 after he was found with two illegal handguns, one of which police said was stolen. He is ineligible for parole for one year, the Prosecutor’s Office said.

Just exactly the way New Jermany designed it; be completely nonsensical.

As I said, do as you see fit. For myself, if I was going to carry something not listed on my permit, I'd have a copy of the statute with me, and be able to quote it verbatim, should an officer become curious.

NJ 2C:58-4. Permits to carry handguns
    a. One permit shall be sufficient for all handguns owned by the holder...

There are no other qualifications or restrictions in that block, except that the permit is only good for the person who it (the permit) belongs to. Duh.

NJ and the FEDS LOVE gray areas. most laws are narrow Black/Narrow White with Wide gray area.
