I called the Middlesex court today and they told me they haven’t received my application from the PD yet. They said to try again next week. On day 72 since submitting the application to Edison PD.

So I should just call the superior court and ask them if they received my ccw application? What information will they need to look it up?

Thanks for the quick response. How do people know they are at the court level? I already joined the facebook page but haven’t seen anything specific for Edison. Everyone else in Middlesex seems to have obtained status from their PD except for Edison. I agree that we seem to be in the worst town and county for ccw.

Has anyone who applied for their CCW in Edison ever obtained the status of their application? I just called the Edison PD records department and they told me that they don’t give any status and I just have to wait until I hear from the court. She sounded like she was tired of responding to requests for ccw status.

You're lucky. I applied in Edison for just the P2P on 1/15/21013 and my references still haven't received any paperwork.

Renewal FID and P2P finally arrived in Edison after 16 weeks. I'll probably apply for a couple of more P2P now that I know how long they will take.

Has anyone from Edison received their purchase permit recently? I submitted my paperwork on 6/28 and I've seen people that applied a month before me receive their P2P in 6 weeks. Why is it taking twice as long as before now? When I call to find out the status, all they will tell me is that they will call when it comes in.
