Brass shotshells were the standard pretty soon into WW1.... paper hulls got swelled and wouldn't load.

If they were used in WW1 then they must cycle in a pump gun. I wonder if they would cycle in a semi auto?

  2. Down in the Outer Banks for the week and I was walking around an antique shop and came across these. Never saw brass shot shells before, pretty cool. I wonder how they were reloaded being that you can't crimp them to hold the shot and charge in the shell.

In the event of A State of NJ government shutdown on July 1st,2018 forcing state offices to close, we would like to inform you that the NICS Unit will continue to process checks during the shutdown and office closures.

I'm surprised that they would have stayed open. Wouldn't think that Murphy would consider anything firearm related to be essential.

  4. My question is, why were you clocking them so hard in the first place? I have probably eaten in a thousand restaurants in my life and could never tell you anything so detailed about something that someone else ordered with the exception of it being carried passed my table and saying "Ummm that looks good, I should have ordered that". There must have been something else that brought your attention to their table?

  5. Are the WMA ranges closed or at least frowned upon using during certain hunting seasons? I would imagine that someone sitting in a tree stand for hours waiting for a deer to walk past would be pretty mad if I started shooting clays and scare them off. I looked on the state web page but didn't find anything. Just wondering what the protocol is?

you can't pair pancakes with eggs and bacon? this is news to the vast majority of americans

Never did I say that pancakes can't be paired with eggs and bacon. I stated that not only can waffles be paired with them, waffles can be paired with other foods to make not only delicious breakfasts but also delicious lunches, diners, and deserts. Unlike pancakes (the inferior food)

    Mmm yes.

I like pancakes because of their fluffiness and being filled with fruit is wonderful.

Dude you get a hole punched in your man card due to using "fluffiness" and "being filled with fruit is wonderful" in the same sentence :(
