Watched a bunch of youtubes and online articles but figure I would ask the board members to. My main questions is how do you guys clean the gun slide itself? I bought those pre-treated cloths and says wipe it down and it leaves a coat to prevent rust etc. I read some just wipe gun oil on it to prevent rust/moisture. Right now I just did a full clean on it. Wiped the slide with CLP to remove the dirt and oil. Used the pre-treated cloth, let is sit for a few minutes and wiped it down with a microfiber to take out any residue. Not sure if that is the ideal way. Any tips would be great. Thanks

Hello everyone, I have been following this forum for a while and finally got a chance to join. Old Bridge PD took 2 months. Received my FID last week and was able to purchase a FNS .40 as my first firearm. Hoping to put some range time ASAP even with the crazy ammo frenzy. Thank You!

After much debate I settled on a .40 cal FNS. Should have it by tomorrow and hope to give it some range time over the weekend. Anyone can recommend a good place to buy ammo locally? Not trying to over pay at the range. Thanks
