  1. Yeah and I have carried a multitool many times in NYC, with no problems, even while I had interaction with NYPD.
  2. That has been tried, and is still being tried. Towns are stonewalling because frankly they never kept good records (probably a good thing should there be an attempt at confiscation?)
  3. Chris, Can I quote you on this? I want to spread this around. This is exactly what we need to be doing.
  4. A thousand million billion percent this. More to come, based on what we talked about today with Anthony and others.
  5. That's the right idea. Listen to GFH radio this week. We are on the show talking about what we need to do.
  6. Maryland is almost as bad as NJ (restrictive may-issue) and not honored in PA.
  7. I think they want to condition us not to want to carry.
  8. Exactly. The fight in the courts is NOT over with yet. There is still Peruta hanging over California and once that becomes final it could impact NJ.
  9. Possible. Bloomberg put her there so it's probably aimed at NYC. But it's dumb because I know a lot of NYC residents who have Florida driver licenses (and Florida plates) for insurance (fraud) purposes.
  10. I'm still wondering exactly what her motive is. She has the mckown lawsuit so it's not like PA residents can even carry on non res LTC anyway.
  11. I know. I'm just pointing out the finer points of the new agreement.
  12. Part of the problem is that people are afraid that Almeida will get his permit. I just can't even begin to deal with that reasoning. If he gets his permit the door is opened, even if it's just a little. But since Nappen is challenging on 2A grounds and SAF is picking up the case, it can be ruled in our favor. Almeida did something extremely important already - he proved that the definition of justifiable need in the admin code is a complete and utter farce. They can't even hide behind it now like they hid behind muller when they granted his permit. You can't tell me that someone who has been threatened by gang members with verifiable police threats doesn't have justifiable need. If you guys had seen the plaintiffs for heller before the lawsuit even took off, the responses would have probably been similar. Dick heller was a special police officer. The plaintiffs in Drake - some were law enforcement. We have to look at the bigger goals here and understand that sometimes it takes an extreme case to bring down the whole system.
  13. Actually if you're not a resident of PA you can carry in UT on a PA LTC.
  14. I'm merely calling out the fallacy that SCOTUS has to render a bad ruling for us to lose our rights and for there to be anti gun precedent. That is not true. By denying certiorari they've done the same thing. So even if SCOTUS ducks case after case, there is nothing stopping an anti gun state like NJ from denying the right to bear arms under the guise of regulating it. There is also nothing stopping a state from passing right to carry laws either. But by SCOTUS not ruling definitively, may-issue is the law of the land unless a state decides to go shall- issue.
  15. NRA membership numbers and breakdown are top secret, supposedly. Why would they reveal them to give the antis any hope?
  16. Didn't "gun owners" elect Chris Christie in 2009? What good has that gotten us? Besides helping us play defense that is.
  17. I am not saying not to. Do it if you want. But what I am telling you guys is from my own investigation. It's turning out to be a bigger pain in the ass than I figured it would be. The process is clearly tailored towards residents. Of the other permits I have, this is the most challenging to get (besides NJ of course.)
  18. NH is also valid but NH requires a permit from your home state. TX is impractical because you have to do the training and fingerprinting there (and since livescan requires an appointment you are looking at at least 2 trips), plus their system for non-residents makes it difficult to apply since it ties in with the Texas DMV.
  19. Pretty sure you don't need a resident license. You need a valid permit/license to carry that is recognized by PA.
