  1. not sure if anyone tried this place before, but i came across http://www.buymymags.com/AR_15_10_rd_black_p/ar15-10rd.htm buymymags.com i couldn't believe they had AR15 10 rounders in stock, but ordered some today. figured can't hurt giving it a try. been hearing so much, and seeing so much, how CTDirt is blowing up their prices that i'm not buying from them anymore. hopefully somebody dealt with this site before and can give me a heads up if i'm getting ripped off (not price wise ($20 per AR15 10 round mag), but quality/customer service.
  2. have you tried http://www.gunbot.net/ammo/22lr/ ? somebody told me about www.gunbot.net yesterday, used it multiple times since. lists many sites with in stock ammo you're looking for. above is link i just copied for you for 22lr. good luck.
  3. spectacular. went on and used right away. much thanks.
  4. i'm hearing this more and more. to be honest, i started buying online many months ago, figuring NJ wasn't going to wait long to make ammo and part ordering online difficult or impossible/illegal. i've spent a good amount on shipping on a lot of sites i use for online ordering... schedule of work and family make paying premium shipping sort of worth it..knowing it's better to have ample stockpile. appreciate if folks could indicate what sites they use if any which are fairest while having adequate inventory as well.
  5. GOT BUSHMASTER 10 ROUND ar15's for $20+ range. the $30+ 5 rounders didnt make sense to me
  6. good to know. im relatively new to things and still gaining knowledge. mags were relatively moderately priced but yeah, i did see price inflation when shortages started while back
  7. [ANY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ALTERNATIVES TO CTD?] quietly been picking up magazines for my two AR15s over the past two days cheaperthandirt has been finally putting out inventory. limited me to 2 mags per order for a few variations, but last round (this a.m. i bought five), i was able to pick up bushmaster 10 round AR15 223/556 magazines in a single order. yesterday, when i made a few orders, the stock went to zero again, so there's not much inventory left, IMO

  9. First time poster. Handgun [springfield XDM 4.5 9mm]; AR15 [s&W; USA Tactical]; Mossberg & FNH Shotgun owner. Wife picked out Ruger SR9 9mm semiauto handgun this week as well. Looking to pick up my second handgun, and third soon thereafter. seeking experienced advice on next handgun. thinking another 9mm and then a different caliber for third purchase.
  10. As others indicate, yes, follow up. My town (in Morris County) took a handful of weeks. Extremely fast and responsive to my inquiries. I'd make the context something respectful though, as i've done previously via email. The key is to get the Detective's or other person assigned to handle your application name and email or direct line. Emails are very "non pain in the ass" way to ask if there's "anything else i can provide you, information or documentation-wise to complete the application process". when i went that route, i got responses very quickly such as "no....i've got everything i need, just waiting for chief to sign the permits" and things like that. sets your mind at ease for sure.
