Ive had similar experiences like having three people answer three different ways. Giving me the wrong price when i ask then someone else ringing it up for more and laughing when i told her what the other person said the price was. The issues ( and there is one every time im there) are always just confusion. As the employees learn thier jobs and learn the ropes it will get better. The people working there are all good people. They try pretty hard to do the right thing. If you talk to the employees they are all very nice, very good people. Its a new operation. Thats all. But they spent alot of money and time to make it nice. And they communicate very well with thier customers. They are trying very hard.

Pistol permits in Morris Township, 3weeks. References got letters 5 days after application. That means they got right on it. Son's FID just took 24 days. Hes 18. They are inundated. We are not whipping a dead horse. I am trying to figure out specifically how a mag needs to be modified by a modifier outside the state so it is legal in the state once modified (permanently) I find nowhere in the law at all any mention of disassembled parts, I find no mention of what permanent mods are within the law. A block of wood or a pin????? What does that mean? Are there any written directives, instructions, decisions, etc other than what keeps getting posted over and over which everyone has read over and over. ARE MIDWEST PX MODIFIED MAGS LEGAL. THEY ADVERTISE THEM AS JERSEY LEGAL. OR AT LEAST MANY DISTRIBUTORS DO. Is thier method legal? If it is, why are some FFLS willing to sell them completed but they are not willing to modify thier own using the same processs? I am trying to get to the answer, and I dont think there is one. I fear this entire thing, as far as modifying mags is an educated guess at what the state will accept , at some point. DARE WE ASK THEM TO CLARIFY? If I take what you have said to heart, they are not legal. But how do we absolutley acertain that. Does anyone have a link, website, or any informational guidlines from the state other than the one or two ambiguous meaninglesss sentences they provide. Because according to those sentences, it is absolutley impossible to definitivley make a decision as to what will be satisfactory, and what will not. There are hundreds of companies shipping rebuild kits into NJ and saying they are legal. There are several companies making different types of modified mags and either calling them legal or having thier distributors do it for them. Are all of these people taking a shot in the dark. Is there not some form of guidance they are using to make these decisions? Do you understanmd my cunundrum?

To break the law, you would have to be doing the opposite of the direction in a particular statuate. Whate law are you refering to that contains that wording, is there one?

Where do you get this info, is there a link to it, or some reference you can provide. Not being wise guy, truly want to find some writing or reference to back that up, or find out there is none. Looking for definitive answers in writing from source. However there is a vacuum of direction from state as to specifics.

Let me be the first to say it. None of us have any idea. Which is the point. Maybe it wont be issue soon. If they go to 10, I understand they may specifically outlaw modified mags now that magpul has the gen3 10 rounder. Then all these mags that we bought from midwest px and elsewhere will have to go to Colorado. Think everyone will get thier $50 back?

We are closing in on it now. So if i want to make a midwest px mag back yo a 30, i drill the pin, remove block, reinstall plate. 5 min. Are they legal?

So i went to range. Hornady otm runs good. Hornady TAP lo ammo works good. 308 corelokt. Good. 7.62 winchester good. 7.62 magtech. That cdc or whatever in 50 rd box. NOT GOOD. And lake city m118lr. Not good. Both magtech and m118 lr stick on ejection.

Obviously midwest px feels thier profuct is legal. This is pinned mag with block. Why do they do it yhis way? Does anyone know? They must be bading thier process on something? No?

Ok guys, is a rivet in the front face enough? Is a pin in the floorplate with a block in the spring the way to go? Do you still have to glue it? Is three rivet enough if one isnt? And here is the important part! Where did you get your answer??

Well guys i got the encore. Looked at cva. Nice guns but encore is much higher quality in my opinion. More money. But ya get shat ya pay for. Encore, i love set up. Removable breech plug real easy. Very easy to put primer in. Really simple and well thought out. Send ya lic of first deer. Ha ha
