  1. I was a Sat radio subscriber from back when Sirius and XM were separate companies and you needed the external player. Used it for a time when integrated into the car stereo as well.

Got tired of the constant drops when going under overpasses and tree lined roads. They claim to be commercial free, but that's not entirely true. All stations had ads for other stations,  many other stations (typically talk, sports, comedy or news) have traditional commercials. I also didn't care for the deejays. The final straw was the constant junk mail and phone calls from them.

I've tried most of the streaming music services available: Amazon, Spotify, Pandora, Deezer, YouTube and Tidal. I've been on Apple Music for the last year and a half or so. Spotify was the longest one before them. I would have stayed with Spotify, but I find Apple has better quality. I also get it bundled in with my cell phone plan now.

I was impressed with the audio quality when I listened to it during the free trial when we got my wife's new car. Not enough to give them my money though, especially when the signal still drops so frequently.

It is not quite as damning as you might think - this is essentially what NJ will be saying when they appeal it to the 3rd Circuit.

    You wouldn't say "the court doesn't understand x y z"

You would say you disagree with their understanding.

My thinking as well. Similar to how Alito and Thomas told the Second Circuit they got it wrong, without actually saying it.

I suspect it will take a few days for any decision to come out. The TRO took from Thursday to Monday and that was fast. If we get something early next week That will be good. I don't think the judges want to get this wrong - SCOTUS is watching.

I'm sure there will be plenty of arm chair quarterbacking going on again. We might have an idea of how favorable a ruling we may ultimately see by sometime Friday. Of course, today is a different Judge, she may not be as readable as Judge Bumb seemed to be. Didn't Judge Williams also say she was not going to let this drag out? Or was that comment only with regards to the delay she placed on the hearing due to Judge Bumb's ruling being issued Monday?

At any rate, I remain cautiously optimistic.

  4. I don't even know when mine went to the court, I assume it's at the court since the MO was cashed. Applied via NJSP beginning of Aug. I have the date it went from the Barracks to Trenton and a rough date of when the MO was cashed (less than a week before Bucky signed the carry ban bill) and that's all I know. Monmouth County as well. Should be any way. I live in Monmouth but applied via NJSP in Hamilton, Mercer Co. Total BS.

I'm a fan of reloading, but if you're not already setup for it things will be pretty expensive...

I'm setup for 9mm already, so I just need new dies, case holders and cartridge gauges. I think. Not counting projectiles of course. I "assume" I can use the same powder. I know I can use the same primers.

I have these .380 snap caps sitting here that I used to teach her how to load it,  You are welcome to them if you want to go that route.  The EZ model are nice because the mags have nubs that stick out and are easy to pull the spring down to load it.

Thanks. She's pretty proficient with loading and handling and I doubt I'd be able to get her to do enough dry firing practice to justify them. The nubs are nice, springs were still tight yet, I needed to hold the mag baseplate against my stomach or table to get that 8th round in.

As this works it's way through the courts I continue to contact my state Senator & Assemblyman. Both voted against the new laws and I'm waiting for a reply to the most recent questions i sent the.

    Dear Senator Holzapfel,
The recent passage of A4716 followed by S3214 solely on the strength of Democratic numbers in both houses of the legislature. Will the Republican members, all of whom voted against these bills, stand by without some ethics investigation of those supporters who knowingly and admittedly voted for an unconstitutional law? Where is the outcry about the malfeasance in office and disregard of their oath of office to uphold the U.S and State constitutions. Can the average citizen ever expect to see honorable representation again?
Thank you for your support of those you represent, and for your consideration of this issue.

    Any response?

The way I read this was any applications currently in the court system, the court will still process, but they will not take new ones in. So someone's application not yet in the court system, would be approved quicker than someone else's in the court. They should just auto-approve any at the court level. Hopefully most Judges will basically do that anyway.

  10. In the last month I've sent three emails to all members of the Assembly. Each time I have gotten an estimated 6-12 automated replies and maybe 6-8 replies specific to my email. All of those have been on our side.

Last week I sent an email to all Senators. I received two automated replies. Both from the same office. No others. Interesting to see the difference, not encouraging either.
