  1. Yeah my PD recommended laminating mine. A guy at work did it for me. We have a laminating machine fortunately. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  2. They sure are. I'm trying not to think about what I just paid compared to the blue label price if I could've found one. I guess the Pentagon needs them more than I though.
  3. You may run into trouble trying to find them in stock even if a place is a dealer. I just tried to purchase a blue label G19 a couple weeks ago. I was told no one really has them at the the moment. Apparently the Pentagon ordered 40k pistols because the Marines and SEALs are switching to Glocks. I ended up just paying full price because I didn't want to wait for another PTP. Maybe you'll have better luck though. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  4. Ok good to know. Thanks guys Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

  6. Hey everyone, NJ law states it is only legal to transport a firearm to/from a gun shop, range, or between residences, correct? Is there anywhere that states what exactly is considered a "range"? If an individual knows someone who owns private property and it's a safe place to shoot (e.g. far enough away from other buildings, proper back stop, etc) is it legal for someone to bring a firearm there and shoot? If the owner of the property shoots his/her own guns there, could someone else that doesn't own the property or live there do the same? Would this be legal and qualify as a range under NJ law, or would it be illegal to transport a firearm there? I'm new to this stuff and haven't been able to find a definitive answer, if one even exists.
  7. Does every township send a letter to the applicant's employer?
  8. Ok lots of good info here. One more question... What does NJ consider to be a reputable reference?
  9. Thanks again guys Thanks for the wisdom. Do the permits expire after a while? If I get two and use one right away, how long would I have to use the other? I'm definitely going to get a handgun first. Probably in 9mm. I feel like that is the most cost-effective route since I'll want to put a lot of rounds through it. I want something for home defense and a little fun at the range too. Other than that, I don't really have my mind set on anything specific right now.
  10. Thanks for the welcome everyone! No not yet. I'm still trying to research the process in my free time. Honestly I'm not even completely sure what exactly is required yet.
  11. Hi All, Just joined here, living in Camden County. I don't own any firearms yet but I hope to acquire my first handgun within the next few months. I've shot before but I'm not a pro by any means. I thought it would be good to join and learn some stuff so I can make an informed decision for my first gun.
