Heavy bullets will typically raise the point of impact.

    People will ask why?

Because the heavier the bullet, the slower it moves.   So, under recoil the muzzle will rise.   Since it's moving slower, the bullet is leaving the barrel at a higher angle.  Is that what I remember hearing?  Could be gunshop babble.

You know, I was in Hong Kong some years back and we ate at this place called Coyotes.

As we left and walked down the street about 200 feet, these 4 women flowed out of this little hole in the wall "bar" and the one whispered that exact phrase to me.   Well, being that we were worldly businessmen and never wanted to be rude to women in a foreign city, we decided to go in and have a drink.   Truth be told, she seemed to want to touch something but as far as I could tell it was HKDs.   After a quick drink we were on our way to the disappointment of the ladies.

    HKDs?

I own several then I added this Raging Hunter.  None have ever had any issue.  It was either going to be this one or a Super Black Hawk and right now stock on everything is a mess, so I got this.  I feel as confident with Taurus guns as any of my Smiths and Wessons.

    I wanna touch it.

    Exactly

Nobody is shooting thousands and thousands of rounds of steel-cased ammo through 9mm guns.  The only guns that are seeing that many?  AKs, SKSs, Makarovs and Tokarovs.  Those are doing just fine on a strict diet of steel-cased crap.

when it comes to 9mm ammo. What does the different grain amount mean?

Cost, basically.   115 grain ammo is usually the cheapest.  Then 124 grain stuff.  Followed by 147 grain stuff.  Why?  More weight means more metal which means more money.

Ray, not a day goes by when I'm not disturbed by your avatar.

    Man up, dad.

Steel and aluminum will cause premature wear. How much premature? Meh your dollar.

Not this again.  The only way steel-cased ammo will cause premature wear is if you shoot thousands and thousands of rounds of ammo through the same gun.  Aluminum?  No.

Odd, I wondered what that thing was above the grip with the spur on it was.    Who knew it would stay that way when you pull on it?  I wonder how you get it to move forward?

Put a round in the cylinder, spin it, close it, cock the hammer and put it to your temple.  Let me know what happens Mark.

For what they are intended for they're very good......not a comp. or bullseye sight, most buy these and have no clue what they are and/or they're purpose.... mine are on a 30sf.

I like them on snubby revolvers, that's about it.
