Since I am moving to Florida in 2 weeks and will CC almost every day, I am looking for decent gun belt that won't break the bank. I will be wearing cargo shorts quite often and will mostly carry IWB and pocket. I will open carry when fishing since I am allowed to. Any reco's?

I will be carrying very shortly as my move will be complete by early August and my ccw app is in for Florida. I have an xdm 3.8 compact 40 as previously stated and I love the gun. I worry about its concealability in the very light clothing I will be wearing in south florida. I plan on getting a cm9 for pocket carry and or an XDs for those much lighter cloths days. I am a very big 5'6" and have trouble concealing a double stack I also have a Taurus 709slim I will conceal as well at least until I get the kahr.

May have been one of the most pleasant experiences of anything like this ever. Sherries office had application there. Guy could not have been friendlier or nicer. Asked if I had my DL on me,said yes. He said good I can notarize it for you. Took my prints, reminded what I needed to mail in, notorized it and charged me $5 for the whole shebang. Explained how miserable NJ is and thanked him for how pleasant it was. Next ,me and buddy went to Del Ray shooting center. Entire wall of full auto and surpressors. Explained I could have either in Florida with tax stamps. Short barrel rifles too. Guys were nicer then any ther store or range in NJ Now I have to decide on an ED carry. Thinking CM9 cause it easily fit in shorts pocket. May get as pocket gun. Need to shoot an XDs 45 as a standard carry. Man I can't wait to move here. My NJ AR is def going up for sale and I am buying a free state one down there

My father just gave me an unused one today he bought couple years back. I dont like the mounting soultion it comes with. Anyone have a visor mount or a better way then the 2 little suction cups that just basically (and loosely) slide into the unit?

This little sucker in .40 has got some pop to it. Much more then I thought it woulkd, but it is very light so.... Fun to shoot. Sights kinda suck. Plastic stock really dug into my shoulder. Very hard plastic. Going to try and come up with some type of foam solution just to feel more comfy. Going to make a nice glovebox gun when I move to Florida I find this gun very difficult to deal with when putting back together. Build is Keltec so fit n finish eh. Love to mount a red dot on it and still have it fold easily, but not looking to spend 175 on the red lion forend, etc. Looking fwd to shooting it some more. Shame no one else came out with something similar but higher quality.

Heading to FL soon (well SC 1s to do some fishing.) Anyone have best route to Avoid DC area? When I google map it, the way it shows me around adds an hour and half to the trip. I will be using my garmin GPS to head down, but I really do not know route or area well enough to avoid DC. Thanks,

Was back there again today. Not as positive as my 1st experience. SO hot it was extremely uncomfortable to shoot and glasses fogged up entire time. NOt as friendly today either.
