Has anyone recently flown out of Newark airport with handguns? I'm flying out of Newark on United next month and wanted to know whether anyone's run into any problems. I flew out several years ago uneventfully just want to make sure the same thing happens this time.I know all the regulations, just worried that they've turned into New York City and are arresting people acting legally.

How far north can we meet?

I'll take 3K of Fiocchi Small Pistol primers and 4lbs of Tightgroup...depending on how far north we can meet...I'm in Bergen County

If it's primarily cleaning that your concerned about, you can always buy an inexpensive ultrasonic cleaner from Harbor freight, purchase some ultrasonic solution made specifically for cleaning guns and use that to clean your magazines

Given the fact that primers are more expensive at Midway vs Powder Valley (32.29 vs 26.50=5,79/1000) and Powder Valley's hazmat is $28.50, the break even point for small pistol primers is about 5000 primers. If your required to buy $150 in primers for the free Hazmat this represents 4600 primers so if you buy between 4600 and 5000 primers then Midway is the way to go, Over 5k primers Powder Valley is more cost effective. All calculations were done with the unit price for small pistol primers; others sizes may vary Shipping and handling not included (was 13.50 for 8000 primers to NJ)

How are you going to quickly sort the different weights?

Is it legal to have an AR lower with an adjustable stock shipped to a NJ FFL? I don't have an upper and will pin the stock before I buy the upper.

But tubular magazines are limited to 15 rds...that's what made the early Marlin model 60's illegal...so I would assume co2 BB rifles are like tubular magazine 22 rifles. Are there even any Co2 BB rifles that aren't single shot that only hold 15 rds?

So if I'm to understand this correctly.... a pump BB gun (rifle or pistol) can legally hold unlimited BBs but a CO2 ssemi auto rifle or pistol is limited to 15. Does it make a difference if the CO2 gun has a removable magazine?

Why do you say this? Is there a specific exemption?

On it's face this may seem like a stupid question, but since NJ considers BB guns to be firearms, are they limited to 15 BB capacity?

Picked up my CZ 75 clone (Tri-Star L120) last week. Entire process including Nics took less than 10 minutes! Never been in and out of a gun store so quickly; picked up this handgun on my lunch hour! Great gun store, definitely will do business with them again!

I just wanted to post describing the great experience I had today at Andover Hunting and Fishing. I've been to a lot of gun stores in my day having been involved in shooting for over 20 years and I have to say that this is one of the best experiences of ever had. The owner and his mother bent over backwards to help me having to custom order a gun. They offered me water or soda while I waited, and I got to see how they treated some small kids who had come in with their parents giving each a crawfish to take home at no charge. This truly felt like an old-time gun store in another state, not the People's Republic of New Jersey. If you have a chance to use them I highly recommend them. Also the prices were quite reasonable!
