  1. Last i've seen they have came up with 242 co-sponsors & Latest Major Action: 2/28/2011 Referred to House subcommittee. Status: Referred to the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security. The only person i have seen from the garden state who signed was Rep LoBiondo, Frank A. [NJ-2]. Anyone hear any recent news on the subject? Where it stands as of today?

What should i get for the 10milly... it looks like 800x gives the best results with 200 gr lead > 7.6 gr of 800x @ 1119 fps with 29.200 CUP ***MAx*** =556 Ft/LBS While power pistol gives the best with 180 gr. @ 8gr. with 1200 fps 28.900 CUP =584 Ft/LBS But the goal is to get 200 gr to fly over 1200 fps. Im not sure how or Achieve 650 Ft/LBS

  14. So i got to test some new Home grown rounds today at shore shot. 9MM- 125 gr SWC- 4.3 gr of W231 @ 1.125 OAL = Shot high compared to its round nose counterpart. i was surprised. some FTF due to cheap Tula primers. Will never buy those again 45 ACP- 200 gr LSWC under 5.5 gr of W231 @ 1.245 OAL= once again used cheap primers causing FTF. But it was dead on accurate 185 gr XTP under 5.9 gr of W231 @ 1.230&1.200 OAL - both were not very accurate. Light load, will need to go up in powder .357 MAG 158 gr LSWC under 13.8 gr. of 2400 - Deadly accurate, not much recoil. (maybe because i shot the 44 before this ) 10MM Auto***help*** 200 gr lead out of a Glock 20 @ 1.260-1.265 OAL *Lone wolf barrel I went by the lee and hodge data and found it to be such a light load the slide didnt even want to engage. and it would catch open on the last round tested at 4.3 gr of W231 - slide wouldn't move 4.8gr of W231 barely enough to move slide 5.3gr of W231 - felt like shooting soft 38 spcl LEE says 4.2-5.5 gr (870fps-1030fps) Hodge says 4.6-5.6 gr (827-1011) ***but my lyman says - 5.6-6.3 (985-1067) I should have stuck with lyman Any insight on the 10mm? Thanks guys
  15. Those 2 were jokes, i ment to put a smily face next to both of them .no worries
  16. Very true, I'm going to shoot some emails out to PA precincts and see what i can do. I'm sure its the same deal with a chiefs exam and everything Thanks vlad! your the man
  17. Well i'm 22 years old and the only carrear i have had so far has been welding and selling cars. I've sold cars to more cops than i can count who say they wouldnt trade it for the world. And theyre not buying cheap ford focus's , they were buying Roush mustangs and F-350 diesels! My favorite customer john Polatta, who is the president of the retired state police Takes a Hunting trip to canada f every year and is loaded! So here's how i see it. Belmar cops WORK AT THE BEACH half the year , you start at $30/k + $750/week if you have an associates. They cap at $83K plus half of them have side jobs like landscaping, Snow plowing , and viking private security, so like i said they're makin money. -Your helping the community , -Half the places you eat at feed you free(my father's pizza place for example) -After all the friends i had die from drugs i want to do everything i can to prevent that from happening to someone else. -And the girls love a man in uniform And i do agree, after doing alot of research it does seem that PA cops have a little easier life, but this is where all of my family lives.
  18. Thanks ant. I was talking to the local cops in my town and one guy was telling me most of his coworkers have master's degrees in CJ. I was blown away when he told me that. But it sounds like it's easier to get a job in the hood then any where else, which is fine with me. So whats the next step? Wait for the cheifs exam then get into the acadamy?
  19. Hey guys, So I'll be going back to school in a few weeks to finish up my marketing degree, But i really want to be a police officer. After alot of research almost all of the agencies require a degree, but they dont specify what type whether it be criminal justice or basket-weaving! So to all my LEO friends out there, Can i get hired with a marketing degree or do i have to do it all over again?
  20. I just got RE fingerprinted for mine today. The first ones the FBI couldn't read they said. And make sure you write the name of where you got fingerprinted on the upper right hand corner of the back of the card or they'll send it back to you. I know from experience The paper they sent said that after 2 tries and they still cant read your prints then your exempt that portion of the application. All thanks to my finger calus's from playing guitar .
