  1. I'm super excited to shoot it at least once. And after that I'll probably just keep it as a safe queen and clean it on occasion. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  2. So I just got back from picking it up! I am just amazed at this thing! Now I just need an ample supply of ammo and I'll be set for a while! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  3. Ended up being 349, but the shape it's in...jesus. it's almost perfect. The only pic I got of it yesterday. When I got there NICS was closed but I can pick it up Monday. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  4. Ended up just picking up the Yugo. After looking over the Enfield again, it's just in to bad a shape to bother with. It's a Yugo 24/47. It looks almost unissued with strong cartouches, markings, super clean, with a finish of what I'd rate 97%. I'll definitely be sharing photos on Monday when I get it home. 5. Thats what I was thinking as well. Worst they'll say is no lol Ive been looking for a new project to dump my money into. When I go back if they're still there I'll see exactly how bad it is and go from there.
  6. 349 on the Enfield and 249 on the Mauser. I could probably see if they can swing me a deal if I pick up both but I doubt it lol Nick, I'd definitely get both If I could. Just because I need both for my collection. Sure the Mauser is a Yugo but I still count it lol Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  7. Quinolone antibiotics do have some jacked side effects. With any antibiotic, the big ones to monitor for are nausea and vomiting. Generally that can be helped by taking it with food. If it isn't that it's diarrhea. That can be helped with probiotics or Greek yogurt. The two big ones that can be deadly are QT Interval Prolongation and Rhabdomyalises. QT Prolongation is an arythmia caused by an interaction between antiarythmics and antibiotics. Basically what happens is it increases the effectiveness of the antiarythmic and increases the time between heart beats (when looking at an EKG it's the peak of the heart beat. QT interval is the time between peaks). Rhabdomyalises is the breakdown of muscle tissue and is caused by an interaction between antibiotics and cholesterol medications (crestor and it's generic rosuvastatin, atorvastatin, pravastatin, Simvastatin etc). Rhabdomyalises usually causes muscle pain in the lower extremities. But usually you're on antibiotics for such a small period of time there isn't a lot of time for Rhabdomyalises to develop.
  8. So your LGS has two milsurp rifles. An Enfield No4 MKI and a Yugoslavian Mauser. The Enfield is in roughish shape and could use some restoration. Some rust on the bolt, action needs to be smoothed out and the wood needs some care. The Mauser is in great shape. Needs no work. Bore is in great shape. Very strong rifling, almost mirror glossy. If you HAD to pick ONE, which one would it be?
  9. No flowers. But I was looking at the one today and there are buds on it, but it's still up in the air if it'll grow. That's what I pulled today. Black cherry tomatoes, beef steak, and my one bell lol Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  10. Mainly just something to do. Had some extra money from work, and wanted something worthwhile to spend it on. Plus it's pretty fun to watch it grow! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  11. Mine were planted at the same time as everything else was. Sweet peppers and jalapeño produced, and I had one small bell but that was it. I don't think I gave them enough room to grow. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  12. I started a small garden this May. My yard is terrible for growing anything, so I opted to make a raised bed with two 4x4 pallets. Went with beefsteak hybrid tomatoes, black cherry tomatoes, sweet peppers, jalapeño, bell, and hot peppers, onions and cabbage. Planted everything in soil with pre tilled organic worm castings. For being on the small side, my garden is producing tomatoes pretty hard. Something is eating the hell out of my cabbage tho, and some of my peppers refuse to produce anything. But my onions should be ready to pick close to the end of August and those have me excited. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  13. As far as powdered anti-biotics go, unless you know how make them into suspensions you're not going to be treating anything efficiently. And its not as simple as mixing it with water either (generally a little distilled water is added to bring it to the final volume). But if you're dead set on having them on hand, this is what I would stock: Penicillin/Amoxicillin Metronidazole/Fluconazole Ciprofloxacin/Levofloxacin Macro-bid Sulfamethoxazole&Trimethoprim 800mg/160mg Uses: The cillins are broad spectrum anti-biotics, but they're also the most common drug allergy. The Zole's are for fungal and yeast infections. The floxacins are a bit more complicated, but they can treat chest infections, STAPH and MRSA. Macro-Bid (Nitrofuratonin/Macrodantin monohydrate) is for UTI's (generally co prescribed with Pyridium). Sulfa based drugs are the second most common drug allergy and can be used to treat UTI's and similar infections. Dosing: Cillins- 500mg three to four times a day based on the severity of the infection. Child dosing is a little more complicated because of the calculations involved Metronidzole- 500mg twice to three times a day for the severity of the infection. DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL WITH THIS MEDICATION!!!!! You will vomit, you will dehydrate, it will suck. Fluconazole- 150mg once daily for maximum of three days. Generally only one day, but if symptoms persist 24 hours after initial dose then another dose can be given. Levofloxacin- 500mg once daily for 7 to 10 days. Cipro- 500mg twice daily for 10 days Macrobid- twice daily for 10 days Sulfa/TMP- 800/160mg twice daily. Do not exceed two times per day, as excessive dosing may cause severe side effects For sutures, hit amazon, get a cheap suture kit, practice pad and sutures and watch some youtube. Its not hard to follow, but its an art that takes a bit of practice not to screw up.
  14. Not really sure. I'll see what every one wants and use your list as the guide. I generally don't travel our of salem County unless it's rough get to Delaware or PA, so I have no idea what's around there. Thanks for the Info! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  15. So my friend is having a Tux fitting today on Whitehorse pike. Any good places for food up there? Whole wedding party is 6 people. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  16. Just picked up a vortex strike fire II for 161.10 and free shipping. They also have AIM Point products on sale too and the 10% off coupon will apply to that too. So if you're looking to pick up an optic for a decent price, may be worth checking out. www.opticsplanet.com Coupon: aprfljk Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  17. There's an auction coming up in my area. Estate sale really. Lots of cool stuff. What really caught my eye was an Egyptian rolling block. I've been trying to find prices but I only found one auction on one and the rest of the search is info on it, and how to reload for it. Anyone have any info on this? Would it even be worth picking up? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  18. So they'll ship me the mag, but claim because the mag extension can be used on other springfield mags, they could possibly be used to make a magazine illegal and that's what's holding up my order. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  19. That's next. I really hate talking on the phone, especially for customer service reasons because I can't deal with attitudes. But if I don't get a response, I'll give their Customer service department a call and see if I can get anywhere and if not I'll just cancel my order. Probably take my business elsewhere too. 20. So I ordered a magazine and three grip extensions from brownells. 10 round mag, +2 extensions. Get an email on Monday saying they won't ship them to me because they're considered high cap magazines. I sent an email to who ever handles these things on Monday but haven't heard back from them yet, nor have I gotten a shipping confirmation for my items. Is there anything I can say to prove to them I can have them in Nj? Or am I screwed? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  21. So, went to Walmart for printer ink and paper last night and couldn't help but look at the knives while I was there. So I came home with this! CRKT Minimilist bowie. Only 20 dollars. Nice little neck knife. And definitely neat! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  22. Home carry. If I get into comps, I'd probably use it for that too.
  23. I've been wanting to add a SMLE to the safe for a while...you suck lol
  24. When I built mine, I didn't use a grease for the barrel to receiver install. I did use a touch of anti-seize on the hand guard mounting threads though. Made threading a lot easier, and reduces the chance of galling the threads. Just a small dab will do you with that stuff too.
  25. I'll probably end up ordering a ton from sportsmans warehouse. Good prices and stuff is in stock. I like to give my guns a good once over after a range trip, so that wont be much of an issue.
