First, your history teacher should be shot for not having taught you how our republic works or you should be spanked for not paying attention. Once a bill passes one house (in this case, the Assembly), it moves to the next house (the Senate). There, it goes to Committee where they can decide whether or not they are going to vote on it as it stands it or send it back for changes. If it passes the Senate, it goes to Christie's desk. He can make it law or veto it. To over rule his veto they need 27 votes in the Senate and 54 votes in the General Assembly. It would be very difficult for them to get that in the Assembly. Senate they might be able to swing if some Reps cross the aisle trying to be political.

Please tell me someone is taping this. I just got home from work. We need to dissect this, post it on YouTube. Show people how friggen dumb these legislators are.

Typical government. Tells you something is going to start at 10 AM. They really mean 11. "Overflow room holds 99 but they only let 50 in" Must be saving room for their Brady friends.

A good friend of mine wants to get her FID and lives in Clinton Township. When she picked up the paperwork, not only was there a ton of ancillary stuff but also an "Employment Verification" sheet which tells her employer she is getting a firearm and that they need to confirm she has a job. How is this legal!? She works in a very sensitive employment field and one where getting a firearm should be none of the business of her employer. Her employer is also a liberal and anti-gun. Any advice?

We need mental health care reform in this country so bad but the use of guns by spree killers overshadows the real danger; the human mind. The human mind's capacity to cause harm to others knows no limits and we need to make sure the mental health community gets the funding and tools it needs to get help to those that are most vulnerable and dangerous in our society.

I have remedied the hair trigger and bolt issues. But now it looks like the follower assembly is another problem! It is very loose and the reason it seems to be loose is because the pin on the magazine is loose (it moves side to side slightly). Is there any way to tighten this pin? I have tried with pliers and wrenches but it won't budge or squeeze.

Which I can respect to some certain degree but I felt like you guys were beating a dead horse on that one. If anyone has any advice on replacing a sear, I'm all ears though. That one I am not practiced at.

Alright, despite many of you insisting that I clean my gun 10 times over... I took it to an actual gunsmith for a diagnosis. He said some Bubba wanna-be gunsmith went and filed down the sear in hopes of making the trigger lighter for his dainty fingers. He ended up making it worthless. I just ordered a new sear and trigger assembly to see if replacing it works.
