Was told i could only apply for one, then after a month i could apply for another. The lady made me erase the "3" from how many permits i would like and made it a "1". I explained i should beable to get 3 permits as long as i use them a month apart. Anyone else have this problem. Location is rahway.

Thanks guys. This was my fault for not knowing the law prior to ordering the lower. I should have learned my lesson about checking gun laws back when I purchased a Smith and Wesson 15-22 and can not purchase .22lr legally in NJ over the counter (Due to .22lr being capable of being used in pistols) Yeah your right. Thanks for clearing things up. I am letting it go. Ill be waiting until January.

They had new gen 4 g23's $540.....not too bad. But that was 2 months ago -
okay i hope so. after reading online from other forums, there seems to be confusion with the ATF laws. I read since the stripped lower can possibly be turned into a pistol, you would need to be 21 to purchase. If the lower was assembled, it would be perfectly legal to buy for someone under 21. "Since a stripped lower is NOT a long arm you must be 21 to purchase from an FFL". What doesn't make sense is i am reading that you can sell a stripped lower privately to a person under 21 and that this law only applies to FFL's. im confused.....

Thanks for the offer brother. I was really hoping to find a compensated model. Ill keep the offer in mind.

Hey guys i am in the market for a complete 5.56 upper. Id like for it to be NJ legal without any modifications if possible. Can someone tell me if this Stag Arms post ban upper is NJ legal? It should already have its bayonet lug removed. Also as long as then pin the compensator it should be legal as well right? Thanks!

thanks guys for all the info. Definitely helps me out.

I agree with you. I have held them, but its more of picking a caliber to shoot. If i shoot .40 i will go with the p30. Lately i have been thinking about the hk45 because i read that it has a 30% recoil reduction built(or do all H&K's?) in and shoots well. I have only ever shot a couple glocks and my uncles kimber 1911. I fell in love with the H&K's due to the ergonomics. Cost wise shooting, I plan on reloading to help cut costs. Reloading looks like a very neat hobby to get in to. I have began reading "The A,B,C's of reloading" and i was looking into a lee turret press.

thanks, I am researching for my first pistol for my 21st birthday. I plan on giving myself a big gift of an H&K but not sure as to which one. Either p30, hk45, or usp
