  1. I think you are missing the point there.. So what are you saying.. That if I say your are being placed under arrest for disorderly conduct but you think you were not disorderly then you can just punch away? Or if I observe you stick something in your pocket and go to walk out of store and tell you that you are under arrest for shoplifting but you think that it does not qualify as shoplifting that you can punch away? NO.. If a cop just walks up and goes to slap cuffs or just starts beating you for no reason then you can make that argument.. The minute an Officer tells you that you are being placed under arrest for whatever the case is.. you CANNOT resist.. The only way you are walking away from a resisting arrest charge is in an EXTREME circumstance where it is found that the officer had no reason to arrest.. Otherwise you better believe you are going to face the penalties..
  2. Wow.. I have to be honest.. I am amazed how many anti-police people are on this site.. First of all we don't know exactly what went down.. But it seems you all have it in your mind that the cop bumped this kid and then went into God mode... What if he accidently bumped the kid and the kid began just began screaming profanities while the cop was apologizing and when they tried to talk to him he became disorderly which resulted in the scenario.. Second of all.. If you are being arrested you have NO RIGHT to resist or fight.. Even if you feel you are being arrested unjustly it does not matter.. You are not permitted to resist arrest..
  3. Dude.. Did you really just make a Skyrim reference lol...
  4. Thanks guys... As a LEO I feel so comfortable knowing that the citizens out there feel like you... Just a FYI... Cops are "out to get" the BAD guys.. Not looking to lock up innocent people.. Unfortunately you get scenarios where good people break the law.. In the cases with the NY tourists getting locked up with guns.. The people might be good people and but unfortuantely they broke the law.. We can't just look the other way when someone has a gun on the street and is not supposed to be carrying.. Lying to the police is not a great option.. Get caught up in your lies and you can get charged with obstruction and/or hindering.. It is never a great option to lie unless you have something to hide..
  5. Field test?? What is that? lol.. I do not know what the report says from the NYPD or how they do things but we do not do field tests.. We look at what you have and put what we "believe" it is.. For example.. If you have a dime bag we put that we recovered a small glassine bag containing a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.. Or we covered a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine.. It would be my guess that this is what the NYPD wrote in their report but without the report we don't know... Either way it was wrong to jump to the conclusion without the lab results..
  6. I know I dont have to get fancy but would like something nice lol.. Would be nice to be able to have a group meet and such.. And to have the place a little "professional" looking lol..
  7. Don't want to get into specifics but a close relative owns property up in West Milford.. Roughly 150 acres.. No plans on doing anything up there.. Purchased it a while ago and has just been holding onto it.. Was bored the other day and it hit me.. Why not look into putting up a range.. At first I thought about putting up a "real" range as a business but wasn't sure what kind of survival it would have in a state that has the kind of laws that it has..So I was thinking about a nice outdoor personal range.. Maybe have a couple of lanes or something.. Still have to find out if there are any kind of ordinances and such in the town but just floating the idea and wanted to see what kind of money it would take to actually put it up... Nothing fancy.. Just the basics.. I mean the land would be technically free.. I have family that own some construction equipment so that would be technically "free".. The more I think about it the more it seems like it wouldn't cost much...
  8. I had heard about issues with the glock mags.. Not sure if it was fixed but heard that some people were experiencing feeding issues with the glock mags and something about the last round would jam.. Not 100% if it was something that was fixed but when doing research that is what came up.. But yes the one i went with is the beretta mag...
  9. Just thought I would share.. Picked up 2 new toys today over at Bullseye Tactical who is a vendor on the site here... Great guy by the way.. Anyway.. Picked up a Kel-Tec Sub 2000 in 9mm and a Mossberg Tact shotty.. Prices were great and service outstanding.. You guys should take a ride out whenever you get a chance.. Can't wait to take these over to the range..
  10. Yea.. mine was pretty much for the same.. Keep the gun out of the wrong hands.. Even when inside this they would still have their locks on but just an added measure.. The only good thing when comparing this to the Homak that is similar is that the vline sticks out from the wall 2 inches making the interior depth just under 5 inches.. Don't need much depth to stand a few rifles and figured I could also hang my duty and off duty gun in their..
  11. I agree.. It does not "appear" to qualify as a safe or vault.. Just the terms they use to describe... I don't intend on having it out on display.. Figured I would it would hidden behind some kind of painting or decor.. I plan on eventually getting a whole "hidden" room for the guns and security setup but until then wanted something that I can put in to hold the rifles.. As it stands now, anything would be better then just having the locks on them and hiding them lol... And not a lot of places to throw a huge safe.. The setup is "supposed" to protect against simply being pryed open, but i am sure with enough force it will get opened.. It also has the 3 locking mechanisms.. Was hoping to find a place that carries it in stock so I can check it out but so far no good..
  12. I am looking for a safe for my rifles, however I am looking for in-wall style for the rifles.. I can't really find much other then the V-line closet vault... Kind of priced high for what it is but its what I am looking for.. Just wanted to see if anyone has any first hand experience with it or has something similar.. Figured I would do something like this until I am ready to do a little construction and make a nice "hidden" room for the guns... This is the v-line safe I am looking at...
