  1. 1000 pack in stock at Midway as of this morning. A bit more expensive than the Berry's. I have Berry's (and lead from Missouri Bullet Company) orders in but grabbed 1,000 from Midway to hold me over (8 weeks maybe from Berry's and MBC). Yes, I'm still shooting in these times, not just hoarding. These are the bullets only for reloading for those that don't know. Now to find a reasonable source for powder...
  2. Keep the spirit, I'm 100+ now although I'm sure the delay is Trenton, not the local barracks.
  3. I wouldn't doubt it. Sorry, I can't answer your question. Anyone got a NJSP permit issued in the past month? If so, what was your wait time?
  4. Put in for permits at NJSP Tuckerton in mid-November. References said they got calls in early December. But now I'm still waiting. In the interim, I did get a extension on a previous permit I had, that took just under 4 weeks. I've always found them good to deal with at the barracks, seems upstream is where the delays are with NJSP.
  5. Same here, been waiting on an LPK order for 3 weeks...
  6. Atlantic County has a public range open on weekends. In order to use it, you must take the NRA First Steps class. They offer it there for both rifle and pistol. http://www.aclink.org/publicsafety/FTF/
  7. I'm in...along with some barrel parts they had in stock I've been waiting on...good find! Now we have to see how delivery goes...
  8. Jammed up by OGAM and the recent NICS backlog, had to recently turn a P2P over to the local NJSP barracks to send up to Trenton for renewal. What have others seen in terms of turnaround time by NJSP on a P2P renewal in "normal" times or even better, in the past month if anyone has done it?
  9. Thanks for meeting up so quick, highly recommend!
  10. Thanks, have to hit up Cabela's tomorrow, will make the stop. Was wondering if it was worth it, with some bigger shows coming up, wasn't sure what there would be in the way of vendors, thanks.
  11. Got the call my permits were on on 7/31, picked up on 8/1.
  12. Shot one at Target Master in PA last week. Shot the gun well, but half a box took it's toll on the inside of my thumb. It seemed like there was an unfinished burr or something on the frame near the grip safety. I was surprised when I saw what it did because it didn't feel problematic while shooting it. Also note that there have been a number of reported issues with the gun going fully into battery. May be related to limp wristing. I am interested in this gun in 9 mm. But I definitely think this is more of a pocket carry gun. If you going to holster, the 3.8 compact is hard to beat.
  13. 3 PP's submitted at SP barracks on 4/28. Got call week of 5/20 from barracks that app was being processed and would be sent up shortly. Depending on whom you get on the phone in Trenton, they are now saying to have the barracks call up to check. On 7/11...75 days in, I tried checking with the barracks. They refused to check for me saying Trenton wouldn't tell them anything. So tried Trenton again, explained my situation and got someone to check for me. They said they didn't get the app there until 6/22. It was "in the pile" to be typed up and would probably be about 2 weeks. It's been 26 days since my last purchase, so I'm not making a big deal yet. NJSP up until a year ago was good for about 45 days. This past winter/spring was closer to 60 days and now running 90 days. It seems this round was slower coming out of the barracks. Once could make the argument they see my purchase history and don't see a rush to issue since I can't purchase again until 7/30, but I somehow think that's giving the system a little too much credit.

  20. Hit the show for the less crowded Friday night. Only one Buck Mark in the entire building which was disappointing. Lots of vintage stuff if you like that. Just about every model of 9, 40's and 45 handguns along with many, many long guns. If you want to play with a lot of toys in one place, good show. Wasn't impressed with pricing on any of the new firearms. Some good looking slightly used stuff at fair prices. Ammo was priced about what it could be bought for online, a couple of slightly cheaper sales. I was in the building under 2 hours. Went down to Target Master after the show and spent almost as much time in there.
  21. Have never been to the Valley Forge show. It's this weekend again. Wondering about other experiences there. Good ammo deals (looking for 9 and 45)? Also looking to add a .22, want to hold some Browning Buck Mark pistols. Thoughts on if I'm likely to find different models there? Thanks in advance!
