  1. I'm buying and will happily provide the information for my local police. I saw that my FID # was on there so I'm not sure they need that. COE not required for f2f?
  2. Is the address available for SP on the internet? Issuing authority is my local police. I'm happy to fill out and stamp two envelopes to make sure this is done correctly.
  3. So I assume the Certificate of Eligibility is not required from the sticky?
  4. OK--because we live in NJ I want to make sure I get this right. I've read here on the forum and it seems that when I meet up with the seller of the pistol I should see proof of ownership and since that's NJ it would be the portion of the permit that he kept (pink one?). I then need to provide him with my P2P, fill in whatever is necessary and provide each of us and the state police with the appropriate copies. Lastly we need two signed copies of this form http://www.state.nj.us/lps/njsp/info/pdf/firearms/sp-634.pdf (State of NJ Certificate of Eligibility) that I guess we both keep one for our records. If that is correct I have a couple of other questions: 1) Is that it? 2) When I purchase at the store they check with the SP and wait for a phone call, does the seller need to do that? 3) Does the 30 day rule on firearms include long guns? E.g. if I bought a long gun two days ago but haven't bought a pistol in a year is it OK or do I need to wait 28 more days because of the rifle purchase? Thanks, Rob
  5. Did I hear free pizza? I can't wait to go. It's not as close as I thought but 14 miles ain't bad. I didn't pay the rifle premium as I'll shoot my ARs at Cherry Ridge.

Well it's on the way. He said the bore is consistent. I'll take it to a gun smith and if it's not legal I'll change it. Sux.

Here's what I got from Rainier arms: Rest assured, the ATF stopped classifying muzzles as either flash hider or compensator. So as long as it’s pinned/welded, you’re good to go.

It says it is a compensator on the wb site. I hate NJ. Let me see if I can change. Kind of pisses me off because I like what I was building. Thanks for the heads up.

I am looking at the Rainier XTC compensator. My question is does the muzzle need to be pinned in NJ? I have an NJ legal Bushmaster that the compensator does not look pinned on.

I have access to a drill press and that's what I was going to use. Thank you though, better safe than sorry.

    AR15 build

Started to build a custom AR15 using the AR15.com billet lower. I have a question about the stock because NJ requires a fixed stock. I'd really like to get a Magpul but they are all adjustable. Can that be pinned like my bushmaster to meet the requirement?
  19. On gunbroker.com it says $25 xfer fee and $15 nics so I think 40 as stated above is all inclusive.
  20. Wow, looks fantastic. I can't wait to join so hurry up and let's get open!
  21. I am looking to get an ar15.com lower so I am looking for an FFL that I can have it shipped to. Any recommendations in my area? Thanks, Rob
