  1. I like the PPQ, seriously, I plan on doing more training with it and getting better... The article seems to be creating more buzz and discussion about the pros and cons of the gun which people can do all day long... but in the end it all comes down to what works for the individual. Maybe I'll have to get a Glock for my right hand and a PPQ for my left hand (since it has an ambidextrous slide release)... And a flashlight for my mouth of course.
  2. Check it out guys: http://www.popularmechanics.com/_mobile/technology/military/weapons/the-walther-ppq-007s-favorite-handgun-gets-an-update-7865938?click=pm_news
  3. I was in the class using a PPQ as well. I didn't have any issues with jamming. Most of my issues came from being in the dark ad getting comfortable with my weapon when I couldn't see it. The instructors are amazing and I would highly recommend.... I would be curious to do the class with a Glock to see if I shoot better, or rather, more accurately with a different point of index. I was impressed with Irish Petes flashlight.
  4. looking forward to trying out my new PPQ! curious to see how it compares to my beretta92fs
  5. think i am headed to RTSP this thursday afternoon for the first time
  6. thank you , and please forgive my thread drift. looking at PPQ holsters now.. trying to decide between the blackhawk and the DeSantis
  7. Thanks ! i feel silly because just after i asked i found the answer on the interwebs. Are there any outdoor ranges that people recommend? I might go to RTSP to fire my PPQ for the first time... or possibly the bullet hole. I LOVE teh gun for hire guys and HIGHLY recommend taking the " home invasion sims class" it will change your whole perspective on home defense and how you will react in a live situation. I think that class should be mandatory for anyone who wants a gun for home defense. Anyway, thoughts on outdoor ranges? I was at the bullet hole a few weeks back and actually saw a group of idiots shooting a glock and one of them pointed it at his eye to look to see if it was out of bullets. it had one more in the chamber and luckily he didn't shoot himself in the head.. anyway. Im hoping to find a good range close to maplewood...... or to be honest i would even drive to Pennsylvania .... I would love to find a steel target range...
  8. quick question... i also just purchased a PPQ. - where did you get the tritium night sights? - where is the RTSP range? Thanks everyone!
